I agree with those that aren't in love with this product. When I saw the video for this product I was in awe and couldn't wait to get my hands on one (remodeling my house and I do a lot of painting). It works great with the brush but not with the roller. Whatever properties it has that holds the paint so that it doesn't spill also holds it so that you can't load up the roller. I am absolutely going to use it if I have brush work, otherwise I've returned to the old fashion tray for rolling...

Wife likes to paint the walls etc all the time. Purchased this for her so she didn't have to lug around can or tray. Worked amazing! Almost fell out of my seat when she turned the tray upside down on our carpet floor and not a drop came out. Very comfortable to hold. Does everything claims.

Not too thrilled with this item. In fact, I really don't like it at all. I saw this on a commercial or somewhere and thought it would be great for doing trim work on a ladder. Turns out that ALOT of paint is required because it soaks into the pad. The soaking up feature is probably why it doesn't spill, but it's just too much paint waste and I need more paint on the brush at a time, otherwise I"m refilling the brush with paint too many times. It doesn't spill, so I'll give it that....but I feel like there's too much paint waste. I'm sad about this because I thought it would be a great help.

A bit pricey, BUT effective and I fell in love with them. A little bit of a learning curve because you insert these into the holder and you hold it like you're painting a fresco, but you can use those 4 to 6" rollers in these with minimal splatter. Love, love, love them!!!!! If you use oil base paints, use the refill and discard and then you'll think God they're pricey, but any other paint you can clean these and reuse as I have and I'm on my 4th color with just one refill and whatever glue they use is amazing that with all the moisture it doesn't come apart.

Good product. Very difficult to keep clean and to keep paint from drying into the fabric/shell. Also super difficult to just get the paint out of. Often felt like I was wasting a ton of water. Best for quick jobs not prolonged jobs where you are mixing any colors.

Got this for an xmas present for my handyman son in law. He loves it. One word of caution, the handle strap that goes across the underside of this lid thingy comes loose from it's connection so make sure you leave a wee bit of space and don't make it too tight before you attempt to put your hand inside the strap. Of course, it was easy enough to fix but it's a wee bit of a hassle and wouldn't be good to happen while using this for real. But for the price it's a pretty good product.

The product performed as advertised. I gave it 4 out of five stars because of the messy cleanup. The bristle fabric liner hold paint as it should, but when cleaning the fibers snap back and spray paint and water everywhere. For a small job it isn't worth the mess. It requires a lot of water to clean up, too.

Not a great tool

As a professional painter I love gadgets like this but this one isn't great. Hard to get paint onto the brush, paint dries too quick in it, very messy clean up. Might be good for multi-color faux finishing or something like that but not for large projects

This item does work somewhat but if you put too much paint in it, it will spill and run out as it is only a material such as them foam pads that are used for painting which holds paint without dripping. If you put the right amount of paint in the tray, there is no issue, but too much, you will have a mess.

Amazing !!!! I have a friend who is a pro painter and he want's one for X-mas. Since it retains paint so well you have factor in the cleaning time. It takes as much time cleaning than it does cleaning a roller. But after it's ready for the next job. So I am a part time pro and I want to by another 5-6 lining. Do you have a special for the holidays ?
