This clock is fun to look at and point out to people when they ask for the time. It's a conversation-starter, and I am extremely happy with it. It takes some getting used to but not much. I would absolutely buy it again, and even plan to pick up a few more as gifts.
I did not give it 5 stars for a few minor reasons. First, it is made of matte, toy-grade white plastic. This does not affect the functionality in any way, but it could be easier to mark or damage the surface if one is not careful.
Second, the size of the pupil "hands" on each side can make it difficult to discern the exact hour, especially in the corner areas like 7-8 o'clock and 10-11 o'clock. My wife has more of an issue with this than I do, but I have had it before. There are small white holes to mark the dead-center of the pupils where they meet the edges that are meant to combat this problem, but they are so small that from across the room they serve no function at all. I intend to place a large drop of white-out or possible white paint over the dots so they are more visible from a distance.
And yes, the clock makes noise. It is audible where there is no ambient noise. It's in the living room where we nap occasionally, and it has never interrupted said naps, but I know some folks are sensitive to such things.
Finally, it takes two batteries as each eye is its own mechanism, but I've only set it once several months ago and it seems to keep pretty decent time, so I haven't had to adjust it at all. It is unbelievably simple.
Great clock. I'm considering a high-gloss spray paint for the case to really make the eyes pop!

It's as delightful and funny as I thought it would be. So fun to look at. I'm going to take others' suggestions and put some fake hair on nose on it.

I absolutely love Homie! It's so much fun watching the eyes. It's actually pretty easy to tell the time. I bought one for my home and another one for the bar I work at.

This is a great little novelity clock. The left eye is the hours and the right eye is the minutes. Each is it's own movement with it's own AA alakaline battery. Very easy to set and watch. I added a dot of white out to indicate the point of where the minutes and hours should point. It made it easier to set it. Since it looks a little bare I added some hair on top and I'll get my wfe to paint a nose. Fun Clock

Each eye is its own clock and one eyeball kept falling off as I was setting the clock.
