Excellent for your gate or fence

At 10" X 7" this sign would be great for the gate to your front or back yard where you would want to warn people on foot about a dog in the yard. (Whether there really IS one, or NOT! *)

There is a small hole in each corner for screws or wire ties, which should make it easy to mount on either a wood or wire fence. (Sorry, you need to provide your own screws or ties.)

I would also place this sign any place where someone might try to jump or climb a fence rather than use the gate, especially if it's a low fence that an agile person might just swing or vault over..

I purchased this sign because of the image of the ferocious dog. Even children or people who can't read will likely understand the message.

My concern was not children, however - Living on a ranch in a remote area of Wyoming, I was more concerned with transients who might be up to no good.
* My research has indicated that few people (especially law enforcement or delivery people) are intimidated by the legal threat of a "No Trespassing" sign. After all, what are the chances they they'll even be caught, let alone detained? HOWEVER, the threat of a DOG ATTACK is altogether a different matter. Even the bravest idiot thinks twice about THAT. (Codicil: If you really DO have a dog, and it bites someone, YOU may have a legal problem! Especially if your sign has no picture.)

I would recommend this sign to anybody, with or without a dog, who is concerned about trespassers or intruders. Put them on your gate or fence, or even on or next to your front door. As added deterrent, place a dirty dog food dish and a dog good sized chain, with a snap hook on the end, near the sign. (Move them around a bit as you walk by, so it look like there really IS a dog).

Signs arrived safe and sound. I ordered them to give to a local animal rescue farm - the owner told me that it is a county requirement to have the image of a snarling dog on a Beware of Dogs sign, and she had not been able to find the right sign locally. I selected this product because of the UV ink (living in Florida, signs fade quickly if the ink is not right), the size, the image, and the fact that it is made in USA. Pleased to get follow-up email asking if I was satisfied with the product.

This sign is a good deterrent. I have a large mixed german shepherd dog who resembles the dog on the sign, which is nice. I think the quality is nice and I just received my sign and placed it in a window next to the back door. If you have a yard this will be great to attach to the fence to deter intruders. The "BEWARE" is bright red and bold, and the dog on the sign looks awesome. I recommend this sign to anyone looking for a "beware of dog" sign. The sign is sturdy metal and has 4 holes in case you want to hang the sign with a nail in each corner. The design and artwork on this sign is great.

I had one just like this years ago in that it had the same image, but was just a cheap piece of plastic which did not last long in the California sun. I bought it, probably from Home Depot, because it has an image of a vicious dog the means business and was happy to find this replacement online. I am very happy with the quality of the sign - it's seems to be metal with a plastic coating. I expect it to last a long time and, ideally, make the bad guys think twice about entering my backyard.

I bought this sign because it says it's printed with UV resistant inks, so it won't get bleached out by the sun. I won't know for quite some time if it's going to fade, but assuming it does not fade then it was worth it. Large sign, very easy to read, even if you can't read it get's the message across with the picture. Very satisfied (so far). I hope to get 10 years out of this sign in an area that faces south and gets a lot of sun.

These signs are awesome for any house. We have a private fence corner home with 3 acres so these are a must. I have a German shepherd who very protective and will bite strangers so these are sturdy very well made to warn delivery personnel or strangers walking on my property. We rescued a Sheprador a month ago so we just ordered more to put around the fence. Held up well to the elements so far!!

This sign isn't quite as large as the signs with just orange lettering on black, and it doesn't stand out as much from a distance as they do. But it seems to be made of a heavier gauge metal, and l consider it preferable to use on my gates where anyone contemplating entry will be up close, and the scary looking dog icon will hopefully better attract attention and convey a more reliable warning to folks (like children) who can't read.

This sign is great because there is no way anyone could misunderstand its meaning. Even if you can't read, you can still see the barking, angry dog's picture and know to avoid that area. What I like best about the sign though, is that it's made in the USA.

I have a new fence going up as soon as it stops raining for a few days here on the east coast (so by like 2024?), and this would make a good warning for the outside of the fence and may even hop keep my insurance company happy.

Having checked it out, this is a nice, thick sign. It feels very solid. The graphics are not distorted and are very sharp. The entire sign is coated which ultimately which should seriously prolong its life.

I was surprised and impressed. This is a good quality sign for a fair price.

I bought this item bc it is what I wanted. I had seen a YouTube video to on how to keep your property safe. It mentioned to put a beware of dog sign to prevent burglary's and add it even if you don't even have a dog. Makes sense so I bought it and the neighbors have been stoping to look and to read the sign. Get yourself one to keep your house safe. Maybe it might prevent a burglary in your neighborhood and your neighbors might get one also. Thank You
