A great social card game that will mess with your head by using a hysterically tricky combination of colors and swear words:

How do you play?

• Players take turns to flip over a card and shout out what they see.
• Depending on your card, you might say its background colour, its text colour or a swear word.
• Keep playing until someone stuffs up and is forced to pick up all the cards.
• The winner is the first player to get rid of their cards.

 

It sounds simple, but the cards use a psychological phenomenon – the Stroop effect – known to mess with your head and delay your brain’s response. Players can’t help but stuff up, sending the group into fits of laughter.

Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can take the game to a whole new level with more rules, more strategy and you can even create your own rules.

You ever got excited for a game, and bought it knowing its going to be fun, but since you haven't played it yet you can't guage how fun it is? That's how I was with this, and I can say after playing it, this game is amazing. It has simple rules, but it keeps you on your toes and tricks you before you know it! Its great to play with friends and you will never not have fun playing this game! So if you like having a good time with a game that keeps you on your toes and makes you think, "I'm smart I can do this easy." And then you play it and you then think, "Well gee that game made me feel dumb, and I loved every second of it!" Then this game is for you! Its even better after you and your friends have had a few drinks!

Well, lemme start with this. This is in fact my second attempt to post a review for this absolutely terrific family game (if you have a family like mine then you'll totally agree). No the game is not technically "kid friendly" but who cares! This game is for the kid in the adult. You will say the name of the game several times while playing and you won't realize that you've played for hours, it's just that fun. And finally I must inform anyone reading this review, NEVER SAY PURPLE!! Unless these crazy fellas decide to come out with an expansion pack. *wink wink *

NOT worth the money!!!

I was really disappointed in what the game ended up being for what they charge. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to sit around flipping cards and screaming out swear words while you're drinking with your friends. However, I could have printed this off on my home computer on some good card stock for 3 bucks and would have the EXACT SAME experience. I'm actually pretty offended that they have the gall to charge nearly 18 dollars for this...really? I feel horribly deceived. Bought this as a gift for a friend and then was embarrassed to be giving just this...had to supplement with something else.

Great game to play. Messes with your head and great to play with friends that don't or rarely swear. Friends and I played this when camping. We got a lot of looks from other campers are we exclaimed the swear words aloud trying not to lose.

Though by the end of the night I was getting all the cards. I keep losing to the purple word card lol. At the end of the game it was #f**kpurple for me.

Great game to play over all. I recommend it to all my friends now.

Love the game! Definitely a mental challenge and definitely hilarious!!! We laughed so much (and no alcohol involved - I can definitely see that making it all the more challenging and hysterical!)! I highly recommend it - for mature audiences only though!!

Let me just start by saying I have not laughed this hard in a LONG time! Hilarious game for adults to play when children are not around. It was a brain teaser when we were sober, I can not wait to play after a few. We played with 3 players and 8 players hilarious every time! My sister in-law had the game and i knew i needed one for our house as well, so i ordered my own. Shipped super fast. I even had a few co-workers buy it after i raved about it. A must have game for adults.

Bought this to take to our annual bear hunting camp and all I can say is WOW!!!!

We had sooooo much fun playing this game!!!! We all laughed and laughed and laughed, so much that some of our party the next day bought it for themselves! This game is a total mind FK!!! Once everyone got the rules down it was intense and suspenseful waiting for the next card to be played and the laughter to continue!
I WHOLE HEARTILY recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a challenge and laughter that makes tears run down your face and your gut hurt!!!! (but I dont recommend playing with my brother in law, hes a sneaky A$$hole :) ).

Thanks for creating such a spectacular game and I look forward to the extended version and our next round of gut wrenching laughter and the best memories!!!!

This is one of the few unique party games available. It's small enough to throw in your pocket and take out to bars, and has a ton of replay value (especially once you start adding in new rules). Makes a great drinking game too!

A Fun Game But You Gotta Think

If you don't swear this game may not be for you. I played the game with family & friends at a picnic and we had loads of fun. Because we had kids around we agreed not to call the swear word but refer to it by its 1st letter AND if the swear word slipped out there was a penalty! Needless to say fun was had and we got even more creative by having the loser of a round take a shot. Some of us were more tipsy than others by the time the picnic was over.
