Loved the backpack and the Idea of it used it on a Snowboarding trip worked perfect the whole trip. Last day i tried to Plug the micro usb charger and the thing pushed inside the battery pack and won't take a charge. Now i can't figure out how to get a hold of them to try and get the battery pack replaced or fixed. I got two full charges on phones and listened to music all day so battery packed worked just needs to be more durable i guess and better customer support.

Not quite the quality I was expecting. But still does its job and all my friends were very impressed. On a one-to-ten scale of sound quality and for the price and the size of this thing I would probably give it about a 9. It is rugged. It looks pretty cool. The only thing is the USB charging port doesn't work for my phone and that's about it. But I do think this is a good product. And not many people have it so it's a unique thing to have. The Bluetooth connection worked very well long range and I didn't have any trouble with it at all. The LEDs are cool. Overall I would say a four out of five star for this thing. It's in the item. And I'm glad I bought it.

Updated December 16th, 2017:

The micro-USB socket broke today. It is partly my fault, as I have been recharging without removing the battery/speaker assembly from the backpack. I removed two stars to my rating; I was careful in inserting and removing the USB cable into that socket, even if the shape of the backpack shell made it difficult. The USB ports are not easy to reach and are most likely failure prone.

Summary:

I am giving four stars because it reasonably does the job, even if imperfectly depending on what its prime use, and fulfills a niche market. However my true rating is three stars only; here's why...

Pro's:

Aesthetically pleasing

Battery autonomy

Concept

Fast Bluetooth connection

Capacity

Lights

Con's:

No bluetooth application to control the various functions

Wired remote control does not include a power on/off switch

Not that powerful in an outdoor environment (sound is directed towards the back)

My question about the lack of a phone application was never answered.

Review:
1) Usage:

I am an inline skater, and I train on a protected outdoor loop in a wooden area. Before purchasing a TRAKK, I was using a MIFA F20 Bluetooth Speaker, Outdoor Portable Wireless Sport Speaker for Running Hiking Climbing Bicycling Camping Bluetooth 4.0 APP Control which did the job rather well if excepted for battery autonomy. And it had a phone application!

I thought the TRAKK would be the ultimate product to completely address my needs, but not.
2) What I take issue with:
-So we have Bluetooth built in, but no phone App. to access the various functions? when I first addressed this point, I was told the thinking was to have your phone inside the backpack. I wear my phone on my forearm in a sleeve Nike Evolution Forearm Sleeve, Phone Arm Case for running, training (S/M, Black/Volt)
, to track my workout, but also because I may need to read text messages. I would not be able to do that with the phone in the backpack, and seriously, most of the people I see exercising nowadays have their phones worn on an armband or in their hands. In my opinion, unless you want to charge the phone, the likelihood is that you want to keep your phone within (quick) reach at all times
-The remote control is what you are supposed to use to answer phone calls, increase or decrease the volume, sift thru songs, turn the lights on or off. This remote control will dangle from its cord almost each time you put the back pack on or off. You will have to readjust the length of cord so it stays on the strap. But it misses on the most important function: to switch on or off the power for the backpack. As it is, you need to open the backpack each time you want to switch it on, or off. Unpractical!
-Speakers volume is just adequate for outdoors use. In a noisy environment, you will have to strain your ears to be able to decipher voice. For music, it is acceptable. It is logical, as the speaker's orientation is towards the back of the pack, and directed behind you. My workout App. has an audio option which is very handy to inform me of various vitals and other parameters at various intervals. To be able to properly understand, I have to have both the volume of my phone and the backpack full.
-To switch On or Off, you need to open the backpack. I find this annoying, as I do not need to put anything inside given that the battery is good for several workouts. But this is a matter of preference, as my problem is due to the fact that I only use this back pack to train and do not need to put anything inside, other than switching it on or off, and when needed, charging it.

Addendum on November 17th, 2017: as per my edit, I advise users to remove the battery/speaker block from the backpack to recharge it. The micro USB socket broke, as I was plugging the USB cable for a recharge. Given the fact that all the ports are on the top of the block, the rigid shell of the backpack prevents you from properly lining up the cable, and I believe this contributed to breaking the USB socket.
3) The perks:
-I can now train more than four hours and I do not have any autonomy issue, even better, I do not need to charge every day.
-When I workout after dark the backlights help with the other users of the loop where I exercise.
-Although the straps are fabric, the hard shell helps with perspiration. Easy to maintain.
-If your phone was low on battery, you have the possibility to charge it.
-Enough capacity allows you to carry the necessary, such as keys, wallet.
-Light weight, thus not intrusive when jogging or doing any kind of sport.

Quality:

The battery charging indicator blinks red without switching to green, only after a few charges.

The stitches of one of the strap have started to give way.

The in/out ports should have been located to facilitate connections

Great invention! I've used it on the beach, on vacation trips, and gatherings at the park: it's definitely a conversation piece and its loud. I downloaded an equalizer app which increased the volume tremendously. The backpack's overall size is small (if you're a male) so you look a little awkward with it on your back but once you turn it on, the attention goes to the sound. I'm a DJ so volume and clarity are key to me. I'm very pleased!!

The sound just stopped working. It connects. The voice saying powering on even works so the speaker works but it won't play music or any sound off of any device I connect it to. It's the weirdest thing. I've never seen an issue like it. Not mad at the company because I'm sure it's just a uncommon bug but I would love a new bag to replace it
