How to use it (Simple as 1-2-3): 1. Fill water tank and plug it in (do not overfill). 2. Turn on Evapolar. 3. Adjust cooling power. (You can adjust LED light color, too !) Enjoy! Do not: Tilt it, especially when it is working. Transfer with filled water tank. Use tainted or polluted water. We recommend using clean water. Using device in highly polluted area may effect the cartridge lifetime. Do not use it near swimming pool or in bathroom. Do not dissamble. after having mine for 2 days, I'm disappointed to the point of buying a regular old fan and to be completely honest, buying a $10 fan and putting a bowl of ice in front is about 5x as effective than this $180 "personal air conditioner"

My unit shorted out two weeks after receiving it. Company blamed the use of third party usb cable, hence, out of warranty. Customer service was excellent, but the total cost of having it shipped for repairs was almost the cost of buying a new unit.

Edit 04/25/2017: Just received my repaired unit and works like new. Now I will be only using a portable USB battery pack to power the unit to hopefully prevent another short.

It was a great product overall. It is not an AC unit, but a portable evaporative cooler. It cools down a small area an impressive 6 degrees. This may not be much, but it brings a bit of relief when there's no access to air conditioning.
