Amazing - Same WiFi Speed as Direct Line to Cable Modem

I live in an area with ~250 apartments and tried new HD mesh routers to provide WiFi coverage for my dwelling. Wifi analysis looks like an air controllers screen on the legacy 2.4 and 5 Ghz channels. My Wifi would need to constantly reconnect (even with strong signal) and I was getting about 25% bandwidth from my cable router.

With this product, my bandwidth and connectivity problems are solved - I am now alone on uncontested 2.4 and 5Ghz channels with Wifi speeds equivalent to wire straight of the cable router.

The app does need a bit more robustness by the manufacturer, but I am sure this will be remedied with time (worried when crashes occurred on Android phone several times during setup - but all turned out well in the end)

I highly recommend this product. (just don't tell my neighbors as I like to see my SISD sitting out on its own away from everyone else's WiFi).

I absolutely love this router. First off, the actual router looks pretty darn slick and fits right in with my modern minimalist decor. The actual router was extremely easy to set up. I am not a tech guy so I was surprised at how easy it was to set up the router with my iPhone app. The entire set up took less than 15 minutes and if I can successfully set up this router then I imagine anyone could. The device works even better than I thought it would as my download speed has doubled and the device has not needed a reset at all. I have about a dozen devices that connect to the router and everything works seamlessly and it seems to have solved the issue of my neighbors wi-fi interfering with mine. I would highly recommend this device.

Wow, I am surprised how much this improved my internet at home. The overall speed is better, and way more consistent. There is much better range, and I no longer have to deal with restarting my router all the time. When watching movies I don't have to wait for it to buffer every couple minutes any more. I highly recommend this router.

I already had a pretty powerful router. But this one is better. And smaller to! 0_0

I run a plex server throughout my house, so I like to have as much bandwidth as possible. I also have a ps4 hooked up to a projector on a different floor from the router, and lag/latency was a slight issue. This little gem seems to have solved that problem, and more. Filing up the airwaves of my house. And allowing me to choose funny wifi names that the neighbors are forced to deal with.

The way it operates across the full available wifi spectrum is amazing. And I may take it with me when I visit my mom in NYC. She's in an apartment building and pretty much everyone there has the same internet provider and routers. As a result of that her wifi hardly goes past 40 feet. I think this baby could solve her problems and I can't wait to test it.

I bought this router hoping to boost my internet speed. It also looks really modern, I like the design, and got great reviews. I just received it yesterday and was impressed with the improvement.

Setup: This was really easy to understand. It comes with simple instructions and then you download the app after it's connected to complete the process. I had no issues with the app or the router connecting to my modem.

Speed: I did a speed test on my computer before and after connecting to the router. Download speed went from 9.80 Mbsp to 68.5 Mbsp...I'm not super knowledgable about routers but that seems pretty good!

I can't really speak to the range of the router. My apartment isn't very big so I was mainly purchasing it for the speed boost. Overall, and for what my needs are, this router is great and I'm glad I bought it. If I experience any issues I will update my review but so far so good!

The Portal WiFi router is amazing! The installation process is incredibly simple. The design is sleek and simple. Best of all, your WiFi speed really will be improved! My downstream and upstream speeds are so much faster!! I work from home and I frequently both download and upload large photo and video files for work. I'm able to do this so much faster now!

I used an Ookla speed test to measure the differences in speed that I achieved just by plugging in the Portal router and connecting to the Portal FastLane WiFi network instead of my previous network. My download speed increased from 15 mbps to over 50 mbps! The Fastlane allows you to access frequencies that were previously only available to radar systems to boost speed at peak times. If you want a faster WiFi speed, this product is for you!

I've had my Portal wifi router for about a week now and I have no issues with it. It seems to be working just fine and the speeds are good. The internet connection works great. So, overall it's a good product. It has definitely imporoved my life.

Wifi is one of those things - when it's working correctly it's life changing! When it isn't it ruins your entire day! I recently just moved to a new apartment complex in which everyone shares wifi and just connects through their own router. I've never had to deal with this before so when I got the Portal Wifi Router I was extremely excited! The last thing I wanted was a slow connection.

I always have my laptop, TV (Netflix/Chromecast) and two cell phones connected to wifi so I need a fast service. I just moved cross country so while I ordered it through Amazon Prime my old roommate had to ship it to my new address. When I opened the box I was in love with the sleek white design. Most routers are bulky, dark and just not attractive. As someone who loves a cohesive home decoration the design definitely spoke to me. The set up was EXTREMELY simple! I just plugged it into my modem, downloaded the app and BAM I had an extremely fast wifi system. I struggle with electronics so bad and often find myself having to spend hours on the phone with a representative - but this was a piece of cake. The set up walks you through with visual photos and theres videos if you need them too!

So far my service is extremely fast and I have at least 3 devices connected at a time. I really do feel a difference compared to other routers on the market. It's really amazing that the set up and so easy and they have a helpful app to guide you along/answer any questions - and let's be real we all love a handy app!

I loved the portal since it's easy to connect and use and is definitely much faster than most wireless routers. The packaging was great as it came protected in a plastic wrap since I received this on my doorstep on a rainy day I was glad it was packed with protection. It takes about one minute to setup and the connection speed is wonderful. Try it out, you really have nothing to lose. This is great for gamers and people who stream movies.
