Bought this as a stocking stuffer for a friend who enjoys a cold one (or two) on the weekends, so I haven't given it to him yet. However, I took it out of the box to see if different size beer bottles will work with it since I'd hate to give a gift to someone and they can't use it. From the few different sized bottles I had in the refrigerator, they all seemed to fit so I'm hoping it'll work well for my friend. Great concept.

I received the product and it appears exactly as pictured. I bought several of these to give as gifts and inspected them carefully with a discerning eye. The product seems to be well-constructed and I am impressed with its overall appearance. It seems to be very easy to use, however I have not tested it myself because I do not drink beverages that come in cans or glass bottles. I will therefore wait to hear from those I give these as gifts to and return to update my review.

UPDATE:

I just spoke with the person I gave this as a gift, and they said it works excellent! They live in Florida and conducted a test by placing an already chilled bottle of beer inside the Asobu. They then placed it outside in the sun (the temperature was 78 degrees that day) and checked it after 2 hours. My friend reported that the beer was as frosty cold as when taken out of the fridge, and he gave it a big thumbs up and expressed sincere gratitude for receiving it.

It keeps my beer cold, but the neck is just regular plastic with no insulation. The bottle opener is worthless, as it bent the first time I tried to use it.

These really work, bought for Mexico - beer was just as cold at first sip to last. BONUS just hanging - our resort wouldnt allow glass bottles at pool or beach;they inspected these and allowed my wife and I to drink bottles at beach and pool. Must buy for vacationers to Mexico-Hawaii-hot climate. Great buy for just hanging around the house or camping.

Extremely sharp bottle opener & glue on bottom tag!!!

The bottle opener wasn't very well thought out and the ring of it is extremely sharp. If your not careful you will definitely slice your finger ! I bought two, the all black one was ok and the two tone stainless steel. Well I was checking it out and realized the bottom looked to have a sticker on the bottom of it. I easily lifted it up and noticed a 5/16" hole. I assume this was put on to cover up the hole. This also isn't a very well design and looks to be a cover up. It maybe a cosmetic appearance but if your going to sell something make it right and don't put something over it to cover it up. It does however keep your beverages cold so it's doing what it's made for. There are some flaws and need to be addressed.

Bought for my husband for Fathers Day. He loves it. He uses it on really hot and humid days and it keeps his beer cold and the top covers his beer in between drinks so no bugs go in it. The bottle opener on the top is flimsy unless you remove the metal piece and then open your beer. No issues with what type of beers fit in this container. From Sam Adams to Flat Tire, very universal. Highly recommend.

This coozie works very well, the rubber seals inside it keep your beer bottle from clanking and moving around while drinking. My beer was cold start to finish, and the construction seems good and like it will last a long time. The bottle opener leaves a bit to be desired-I removed it and honestly never tried to use it. Compared to the cloth coozies this works much better, it's quite hefty feeling with a full beer inside, but not annoyingly heavy. The copper color is also very nice.

FANTASTIC! I love this product because it can be used with bottled beer as well as canned beer. Two products for the price of one!! It does a wonderful job of keeping your beverage cold for a very long time. I like the fact that it has a "cover" for beer bottles so no critters have access to enjoying your beverage!!! Great product at a wonderful price!!!

Michelob Ultra fans, bottle and cans.... This is the cooler for you

I have had horrible time finding coolers for Michelob Ultra that fit, but this is it. It fits a regular can AND fits the Ultra can perfect too. It fits the bottle very nicely and I love the top to cover my bottle. The opener would work in a pinch but don't think it will stay in place very long. Just click add to cart, you will be glad you did.

On an 83 degree day I had tested both an unopen can and bottle both starting at 32 degrees. at 30 minutes the can was 38.2 degrees and the bottle was 33.4 degrees. At 60 minutes the can was 39.8 and the bottle was 36.6 degrees, still drinkable if one is thirsty. At two hours I think it for sure passed the to warm to drink for me but if your haven't finished your beer in over an hour, well I will just say this product is great.
