Amazing!! My almost 3 year old loves riding in it, and my 8 and 11 year old daughters also both are extremely jealous! Your child will be the envy of all the neighborhood princesses!! 😊 The build quality is top notch and it goes very fast! Assembly was very straightforward except the curtains were a little tricky to install. I did whole assembly myself in about 30 minutes. Also note: the box that it comes in is huge! It just barely fit in the rear of our Chevy Suburban! My recommendation, if you can find it at a good price- suggested retail is $399, grab it! It will be a favorite ride/toy for years!!

Steering column broke quickly

Like at least one orher review I read the front axle broke after riding three or four times. I disassembled the front to get to it and one of the problems is the handle that screws into the steering column is simply not long enough for the nut bolt to hold securely in place for long. After it happened a second time I used a powerful superglue to hold it together and has been fine since. Sure would be nice if the manufacture could put more care in to a $400 item.

Not Having Kids Didn't Stop Me from Buying the Disney Princess Carriage

Last week I saw a photo of the Disney Princess Carriage making the rounds on Facebook, and my first thought was: "This thing is totally awesome!" I'm a petite Asian female weighing just under 130 pounds. When I was a kid, I didn't have anything like this - no Power Wheels, not even an American Girl Doll. Maybe you can say, I'm overcompensating for my childhood and I just don't care. Went to Walmart last week and bought one of two the store had in stock.

Not going to lie, the assembly was tough. You definitely NEED two people to tag team, otherwise you are going to hate yourself and the Disney Princess Carriage. Do yourself a favor and DON'T do this alone. The base is built very solid, which was surprising. The top plastic pieces are a bit flimsy, and it was very difficult to screw into the plastic and some of the holes didn't line up very well. THANK GOD my husband came home from work and was able to help me put the curtains on. That step was also not fun.

You need 2 AA batteries (steering wheel horn) and 8 AAA batteries (lanterns), so just know that going in and be prepared. Before the 1st use, you do have to charge this thing for 18 hours. Do not start this project on Christmas Eve! Your kids won't be able to actually play with the Princess Carriage on Christmas Day. It would have been nice if the charging cord was longer, at least double the length.

There is no brake, to stop - you just take your foot off the "gas" pedal. Driving in the carriage is a bit jerky, but just the fact that you can sit in a freaking Disney Princess Carriage and drive around is definitely priceless. My husband (6-feet tall, 160 pounds) and I both drove around our street and backyard. We got a few strange and curious looks from neighbors, especially since we don't have kids...

any girl would love to ride this. but every parent should know this carriage is not built/designed well. after 2 days, the gearbox broke. Dynacraft didn't respond to my emails or my inquiry to buy a replacement. I found one on amazon but the gearbox was not the exact fit but I somehow replaced it. When I opened the orginal gear box and opened the replacement gear box, you can tell the original gear box is not rugged or strong enough. the gears are small and thin. the replacement gear box was larger and thicker. then, the following day, one of the lanterns broke off just for riding on the road. for the price, its now worth it. and just FYI, Walmart sells it cheaper. Finally, I would suggest a Power Wheels ride on. Power Wheels have replacement parts for everything. Dynacraft has no replacement parts for the gear box that will eventually break.

Very dangerous!

I have a neighbor who bought this and it is VERY fast and heavy, super unsafe for little children. My 6 yr old son was riding in it with another neighbor boy who is only 3 - he reached over with his foot and floored it. They almost went barreling down a steep hill. Luckily I was there to stop them - I ran after it and grabbed it, using my body weight to slow it down. It dragged this 220lbs of mom 5 feet before it stopped right at the top of the slope, and I do believe it would have kept going if the boy hadn't picked his foot off the pedal. Scariest thing that has happened to me in a long time. DO NOT BUY.

Effectiveness for the money

First of all getting delivery to suburban address - we had to go to a company to pick up, second its not a one man job to assemble and the curtain certainly took forever to get right than after one hour of driving the back axle broke and gear shift box and lantern all broke in the first roding session of a 4 & 6 year old.....horrible cost for a couple of hours of use, now the battery or charger wont work....lots of people admired it but I tell them dont waste your money.

My four year old daughter and her friend absolutely love this carriage. It is very fast and the battery lasts a long time. The detail and quality on this is outstanding especially for the low price. It is a little pain putting the curtains up if you don't have a helper, but the assembly is relatively simple. Dynacraft did an amazing job here. One of my favorite toys of all time!!!!

Junk recycled plastic

I had my daughters princess carriage for not even a year and replaced one side motor because the gears keep snapping. Now the other side needs replacing. Why spend this kind of money for something so cheaply made. The worst of all it's the kid that suffers. My daughter has been all down in the dumps and crying because it keeps breaking. Thanks goes to the corporate greed.
