My son (a gamer) tried to convince me that I should get a gaming computer for performance, or at least a get tower that I could add a powerful graphics card to later. Obviously the Wave computer is so compact that doesn't lend itself to upgrades. I asked myself if I really wanted to buy and install components later, or just buy another computer in 5 or 6 years. After all, the Wave doesn't cost much more than a high end video card. So I kept it simple and bought the HP Pavilion Wave with a solid state drive. I've had it for several weeks now and I'm so glad I kept it simple. This computer is quick and easy to set up, it's attractive, quiet, the speaker sounds great, and the performance is just fine for a non-gamer. It's fast at everything, especially booting up, which takes maybe 7 seconds after you press the power button. Solid state drives are the new standard, and a small computer on an uncluttered desk is my new standard. If, like me, your habits on your PC are surfing, e-mail, YouTube, a little Word/Excel, and researching stuff to purchase online, the HP Pavilion Wave is a great choice. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to friends and relatives.

Works well - fast! But then the computer it replaced was about 6 years old. I think a lot of the cost is in the B&O sound setup. I plug it into my sound system. In all fairness the B&O system is much nicer than separate speakers on your desk. but my system has everything else going thru it.

Gorgeous, looks good for both home and office. At $699 it seems to be a very good deal. PCs should be made this way!

But I have not managed to make it shows 4K on my 4K Sony TV! Microsoft support is inconclusive. Could not connect to HP support. Left a message on Twitter as suggested by their own app but no replies so far.

Lets start this off by clearing up some confusion. This model has a 256 gb SSD installed. The keyboard is acceptable, but the mouse needs to go. This is not a gaming machine. I use it for school work, and it does that job very well.

Bought from Blue Plus One. Sold as new but wasn't as I've just discovered warranty was expired before I even received it , there's now an issue and no coverage. Very disappointed
