Most aggravating puzzle

This puzzle (I Am Horse) is the most difficult I have ever done, and I am known to pick the more difficult puzzles for fun. I don't find this puzzle fun but AGGRAVATING!

The picture that is posted for this puzzle's pieces via Amazon and other places is nothing like the puzzle pieces in my box. The picture shows different interlocking pieces of 1, 2, 3, or 4 pegs/holes. This puzzle has all the same 2 holes and 2 pegs. Some pieces fit in places that, later on, you realize weren't supposed to go there. The shading is quite difficult to judge where pieces go.

As others have said, the outside edge is near impossible due to edges that should interlock (like most puzzles) have straight edges. This definitely is not for 10 year olds. Usually, my family will stop to put in pieces here and there in other puzzles, but no one even wants to try this one. I wish I had read the reviews for this puzzle because I never would have purchased this. I even have tried searching online for a picture with the pieces this puzzle comes with and there is nothing available. I even think I am missing some outside piece(s) at this time and have an extra outside piece. Very frustrating!

Hard, hard, hardest puzzle. Never finished it.

This was the hardest puzzle I have ever tried to do. It is actually in the round, or sort of. Never could get the entire outside pieces together because they did not connect; they just sort of fit. If the picture actually had the size of the pieces shown it would have been helpful. My family worked on it for four months and never finished it. Got the ears, nose, chin, and eyes almost finished. Several pieces could fit in several different places. We had to hold them up to the light to see if any light shown through. If so, it wasn't the right fit. I would try another one if they improved on the picture with the correct pieces shown and didn't have like pieces fitting into several different spots.

I really liked this puzzle when I started

I really liked this puzzle when I started. It is harder than expected - peices fit in spots they don't belong and all the peices are shaped the same - except the edges. I was doing great until I got down to the last few peices. I am missing one peice and had 5 extra peices. How does that even happen? I made one of the extra peices work by smashing it into the spot but if you look, you can see the color match is off. Would have given 5 stars had all the peices been there and I didn't have extras to throw me off.

I bought this for my girlfriend that likes puzzles thinking that this will be a unique one. Apparently it's quite challenging so it's taking a while, but the piece print is good and looks solid.

Madd Capp Puzzle "I AM Elephant"

First time doing a puzzle as such. The tricky part is that you can't assemble this the way you usually start a puzzle, by starting with the border lol you CANNOT start this one with the border since the inner pieces keep the border together. That's what made this puzzle very refreshing to assemble it was something different. Didn't use the usual glue, used peel off stick it paper to keep the finished puzzle together. It looks amazing and doesn't even look like a puzzle. Would do it again anytime. If you like puzzles...... get one of these you will be more than happy you did. Now I do have to say the pieces are very sensitive. First order of this puzzle had defective pieces, but one quick phone call to amazon and they shipped out a replacement right away and I returned the defective one. Job well done amazon!!!

I Am Horse - VERY challenging!

We bought this puzzle for my daughter who is 8 for Christmas. The puzzle says ages 10+ so we knew it would be a challenge. I am 37 and pretty good at puzzles and this one is HARD. The colors on the puzzle don't match the colors on the box so you are really working without a guide. And a lot of the pieces fit in many different places. You really have to be discerning with the pattern to be sure that you have the right piece in the right place. All that said, it's a beautiful puzzle and if you're looking for a challenge, this one is for you!

Very cool puzzle. Hard to get used to at first. My only criticism would be that the accompanying picture is so far off the colors of the actual puzzle it's difficult to use it as a guide.

The puzzle pieces look nothing like the picture. Colors are deceptive. The scale and edge is even wrong. Difficult to put together and we do difficult puzzles mostly. The pieces are mostly same shape which I have done many before but with the poor color to picture thing it makes it crazy.

Puzzle is well made, but decidedly difficult. The pieces obviously are mostly just shades of brown, and are a good deal darker than the enclosed picture, while the edge pieces defy ready identification.

Most challenging puzzle I have ever done. Similarity of piece shapes and shading, along with a unique edge, added up to a humbling experience. Got it done, but it took awhile. One disappointment was about a dozen mangled pieces - it was hard enough already and did not need manufacturing defects, hence the three stars instead of five stars.
