I wanted to love this

I really hoped this would be a fun game as the wife and I really enjoy the show and board games. We already own the Meseeks game and the Rickall one. Those are both decent party games. We were hoping this one would be a little more strategic.

First impression, the pieces are OK quality, but. . . it does not fit in the box! Like, there are too many tiles for them to fit into the little areas provided and then you add all the standies and it's just a mess. I cant believe someone as neurotic as Dan Harmon ever played the game or else this would have been addressed.

Anyway, onto the gameplay! Something really felt like it was missing. We've only played twice so I will come back and change this is we play again and find that we missed a rule or something, but the gameplay was just boring. The placement of the tiles seemed too free. Like, you could put almost anything anywhere. We had very little need to move around the board much or shift "organs" around. There isn't any fun interaction between the pieces, and the only restrictions you have for laying them are by a very generic "Must boarder a BROWN tile" kind of rules.

As a fan of the show, the tiles and references to the episode were nice, but if this game had any other skin/theme I can't imagine people picking it up as the gameplay was pretty monotonous and both games have really dragged on.

I guess I was hoping for more of a Carcassonne type game, or at least some innovative way you must connect the rides, attractions and food stands together. The way it stands now, this will probably just take up a little bit of space in the closet collecting dust. At least the Meseeks box has a fun button to push!

Disappointing Instructions
by Ashley Masterson (3 out of 5 stars)
December 17, 2017

I've bought a few Rick and Morty games that I've absolutely loved, but this one wasn't as much fun due to the difficulty and the amount of pieces and not so easy to understand rules. There were no clear directions on how to start the game and literally had 11 pages in the instruction booklet. Its disappointing because I bet if the instructions had been better written, it could've been an awesome game.

Amazing!! We LOVED it!

The gameplay is amazing, the directions are very clear, and it's a super strategic game. To anyone who is complaining about the game not being fun or not understanding the directions, is obviously not playing it right or games like this aren't your thing. There are a lot of directions but they are very clear and easy to understand. Once you get the hang of it, it's actually SUPER easy to get and remember. We read the directions and watched a YouTube video (just to make sure we understood it all so we didn't play wrong) and that was about it. The pieces are a nice thick strong material, also, which is great. Overall, amazing game!!

Hard game to learn
by SugarBunny28 (3 out of 5 stars)

I really like the idea of this game. Hopefully someday I will actually find the time to learn how to play it. I got it as a Christmas gift for my husband along with a couple other Rick and Morty games, but this was very hard to figure out. We were very excited to play this one first out of the other games that we got, set it all up and probably spent a good hour just trying to figure out the instructions. We were both very confused. I'm sure once we get the hang of it, it will be a very fun game and it will be like, why did we think this was so hard before, but when your toddler goes to bed and you and your spouse want to relax and laugh with a game before calling it a night, this is it really the game to play, because you need a lot more time to learn how to play it. I ended up boxing this game back up and trying our hand at Total Rickall. That one took a minute to figure out as well, but once we got it, we had a blast playing it several times. Hopefully someday we will find a time to learn this game, but until then it sits on used on a shelf. Hopefully season four will come soon and give us hope and joy in the world that will inspire us to try again with this game!

Fun and Engaging

I bought this as a gift for my fiancé's birthday because he loves board games and Rick and Morty. He was super excited to receive it, and we had a blast playing it. It took a minute to figure out how the game worked, but once we got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun. The one thing that we wish was a bit different is the size of the box. After trying to put all of the game cards and pieces back in it, the game cards seem to shuffle around out of their designated spots when the box is closed. Other than that, great game!

Super fun if you can figure it out! We had to watch a few YouTube videos of nerds playing it but it was worth it!

Pretty entertaining, once you figure it out

Fun game, there's just a lot to learn before you play. Some of the rules are vague. It took us a little bit to get the hang of it, but once we did it was fun! Me and my husband play a lot of games together, and we would say this one would be more fun with more people. But it's definitely playable with two.

Once you get the rules it's fun

This is my second Rick and Morty game that I bought. (First one was Total Rickall and that game was easy and awesome!) Because I loved that game, I gave this one a shot. At first it was REALLY confusing... So many rules and so many things to do. But once you get the hang of it it's actually quite fun! Just give it patience and time and you'll start liking it.

Really fun game

I played this game with 4 people, myself included, and had a great time. I love how you can never have the same game twice so you can play it as many times as you want without getting bored. This game is pretty hilarious to play with the right people, I wouldn't recommend you play this with kids or with your conservative grandma if you have one. Overall great board building game!
