So far, so good.

Easy to use, and working for the foods we grill with just a minor inconvenience.

We have used it a few times, here are the pros - cons:

Pros:

Easy to use

Ok to clean-up

Appears to be quality constructed, should last a while

Good grill pattern

Handle detaches to be able to close the grill completely

Cons:

The basket, when closed is a set distance (about 1/2 in or so) This is fine for thicker
cuts of fish or meat but for thin sliced veggies they slide around when you flip the basket
over. Not sure if anyone even makes a version with an adjustable basket closure.

Handle can get hot when you leave it attached on the grill, would be nice to have a removable handle cover.

Price seems a bit high for an item like this, but if the quality lasts then it's well worth it!

Over all it has been working well for the Fish and veggies we have been grilling.

We would like to see the next version with an adjustable basket to accommodate thinner

sliced foods, and maybe a removable cover for the handle. Time will tell if the quality of

the steel and coating last.

For now we rate this 4 stars only because the basket thickness is not adjustable and for the price

we think they could fix this. It still works fine, just a slight inconvenience when grilling sliced veggies.

it is great for me to BBQ! made pic above with this helper! it is so easy for me to turn it over and have another side to be toasted! it is not heavy! and very easy to unlock! i used big brush and baking soda to clean it! everything came off easily!

Received this item today. I spent 30 years in the machine shop/metal business. Felt immediately that it did not look like stainless steel but rather chrome plated carbon steel. I tested it with a magnet and found it to be highly magnetic. Stainless steel is not magnetic. Buy this if it works for you but not if you actually want stainless.

It's going back in the morning.

Just received this morning. The package is nice. Material of this is stainless steel and it is robust and reliable.

Just used it during lunch BBQ. Clean up is easy. Just washed by high pressure water and it looked new again. Very efficient tool for BBQ skewers. With this I don't need to flip flop each of them. I could prepare multiple skewers all together.

Found brush inside which is nice surprise and added bonus!

And last, the service is superior! They took care of customers diligently .

I looked at several grilling baskets and reviews before making this purchase. I wanted to grill marinated shrimp for a picnic and needed a better alternative to skewers. Very pleased with how easily and efficiently this basket works. We made three batches in no time, and simply opened the basket onto the serving dish. Note the marinade contained olive oil, so fish didn't stick. Wish I could have put it in the dishwasher, but didn't want to damage the wood handle. Just make sure to soak it right away, leaving handle out of the water, overnight, then gently brush around the mesh. Just takes some time, but cleans up well.I would recommend this product.

You cannot open or close this without burning yourself once this has been on the grill. Unlike earlier ones that we have owned the loop on this one to secure the top is very short and close to the grill part that rests on the grill. I would not buy again and would have returned but purchased as a last minute gift.

High quality mesh. However the latch system is of low quality. As an engineer, I made quick modifications to the handle attachment and the locking ring, making it excellent. A normal consumer without a degree in engineering would have returned for a refund. Do not recommend.

Product Does Not Close On Sides Or Back

As a result of not closing, when you turn your food over on the grill or fail to hold it perfectly flat, your food will fall right out. I've used it three times with various vegetables and lost about half each time.

This product is totally useless. There is no clasp to hold it closed, and it is not deep enough to do corn or drumsticks. Also, it isn't stainless steel. Sending back.
