2 sizes available, the smaller one does not use standard size Tennis Balls
by Stacie (3 out of 5 stars)

The first question on here was if it uses standard size tennis balls. The answer was YES. However, it does NOT. It comes with 3 mini balls and the are the only size that fits. Too small for my dogs.

After contacting the seller they promptly offered a full refund. Great customer service. I've adjusted the rating to reflect the great customer service & the fact that there are 2 sizes and I can only assume that the larger one actually uses real Tennis Balls.

Just keep in mind when ordering that there are 2 sizes of the throwing toys and the smaller ones uses and includes 3 balls that look and feel like tennis balls but aren't much larger than a Golf Ball. The balls that are included also tend to split in half when dogs chew on them.

just not like expected. 1
by William Prusso (2 out of 5 stars)

Ok.. I suppose this works as advertised, just not like expected. 1. If you use batteries, you will end up spending your life's savings on C size batteries. didn't even last a day. 2. Our intention was to be able to leave this for the dog to play with, but, after a minute of inactivity, it shuts itself off (to save batteries I suppose). 3. the balls are not standard size tennis balls. 4. the balls supplied literally fell apart in 1 day, so you'll have to go to Walmart and get some more. 5. when plugged in with the AC Adapter, it still shut off after a minute and the cord is short.

All that said, the dog loved it. Took about 45 minutes to train the dog to use it, then couldn't keep her away from it. I am going to go look for another brand to see if it is any better.

This little machine is awesome. My dog really enjoys it more than any other toy right now! You can plug it in for a power source or use batteries! It comes with 3 small tennis balls for use in the machine. My dog loves this so much that at night he has started to sleep by it ! Haha

We love it, and our Yorkie loves it!
by Shawn Merriman (5 out of 5 stars)

Love it, and my Yorkie loves it. The belt was stuck initially, just moved it with my fingers and has worked like a champ ever since. My dog will not drop the ball in, but it is still very handy. I sit by this throwing toy, he brings the ball to me and I just drop it in. Makes life easier with the consistent throws in the house.

WOULD NOT TURN ON OR WORK
by Sherry323 (1 out of 5 stars)
July 17, 2018

I assume it works well if it actually turns on. I opened the box, read the directions and nothing. There was a button to push that was supposed to turn the unit on. It wouldn't press down. So I decided to try it with batteries instead of the plug. It made no difference. Dead as a doorknob. Certainly not launching any balls. I saw one other person say the same thing in a review but I chanced it because there were many other favorable reviews. I had hoped it was a fluke. It's not. The product is garbage. For those of you that received a working unit, you lucked out.

Great INTERACTIVE Toy for You and Your Dog
by CORGI MOM (5 out of 5 stars)
June 5, 2019

I had a similar ball machine years ago that used standard size balls and my dogs loved it. This one met my expectations and then some. Yes, it does throw the ball 30'. What I would suggest is that this not a replacement for interaction with your dog. This is not something that I would suggest setting up for your dog, going to work and think he's going to play while you're gone. This should be for interaction between you and your dog. After all, if he puts the ball in and you are not there, who is going to tell him how smart he is? I got this for my two Corgis who have strong jaws, but prefer a smaller ball. I can have it shoot out one ball and on their way out, can shoot out a second. Yea, each dog brings back a ball. I would suggest using the plug if you are inside or have an outside outlet to conserve on batteries. I would not leave it plugged in, outside , unattended.

Worked great for about 10 minutes then just stopped. I think it was just a lemon and as soon as I receive my refund I will purchase another one.
