Best. Purchase. Ever. Just buy it.

My place did not have a dishwasher. I begged the landlord to install one (as most of the units have one), but he's too cheap. I loathe washing dishes by hand. There were always dirty dishes in the sink. I even started to use paper plates and plastic utensils. Sorry ecosystem.

I have had it for a couple months now and it is one of my best purchases in the past decade. I ran it the night it arrived (as I said, I had a cache of dirty dishes and silverware) and have run it virtually every night since.
1. if you follow the directions, you can fit a decent amount inside, but it is what it is: a very compact dishwasher that comfortably fits on the counter top next to the sink where the dish strainer used to live. It will fit underneath cabinets if they are to code.

It's pretty quiet--except when it expels water into the sink, but that is only a few seconds a few times during the wash.
2. I have never had to wash anything a second time. Ever. I rinse a little, but do not believe in washing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
3. I named it ("Dishy", because I am not that creative. Our fish are all named Goldy) and it is now a member of my family. My daughter doesn't quite grasp why I love it so much, but then again she is 7 and has never had to do dishes. Personally, I think she is just jealous that I give it so much attention.
4. If one were to ask me to decide between this and a PS4, I would choose this every time (and I am an avid COD player).

What You Expect

Let's be real here, doing the dishes is a chore that can really strain your relationship at times. I did them last! You aren't rinsing them right! Yadda, yadda. You know the deal.

So as a family of three, we decided that a dishwasher would enhance our quality of life. We could never keep up with our dishes, I love smoothies and my husband has the metabolism of a cheetah.

When it arrived, there were no dents and it hooked up very easily. No leaks, either. You can also tell it had been through quality control because a tiny bit of water poured out of the hose when we first got it.

I run this dishwasher once to twice a day. Yes, it is small. I feel like this should be common sense, it is a countertop dishwasher and cannot hold the capacity of one that goes under your counter. Yes, you have to really rinse your dishes off before you run it so you can get all of the food crud off.

Dishwashers aren't miracle workers, they essentially run hot, soapy water at your dishes with jets. If food has been stuck to your dishes for days, or it is a substance that is hard to get off, this dishwasher doesn't have little hands that will scrub it off. You have to do that first.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase and it's what I expected. I've had it for about a month with no problems. I do not find it particularly loud or obnoxious. My only qualm is that it does not dry, at all. On any setting. It is supposed to be a drying dishwasher, so not sure what happened there. However, what do you expect for the price? We just keep the door slightly ajar after it has ran and it dries naturally.

Wunderbar!

Wow what a great product! Lots of space and well made! A little large but is like a full size tray you get in the new single drawer dishwashers for a fraction of the price. Uses much less hot water than by hand washing and cleans great! (do not forget the rinse aid) Super quiet and simple to hook up and use. Strongly recommend!
**UPDATE**

My machine developed an error in the cycle and machine was automatically trying to drain with no water. If you tried to shut off machine it would turn back on to try to drain. Unplugging did not help as machine turned back to drain cycle by itself. The main point in the update is that once I contacted company they immediately sent me a replacement prior to returning defective unit. They provided outstanding customer service were very helpful so am keeping the 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend this company and product. The new machine is running like a dream.

This thing works fantastic! For my first run I put it to the test with a casserole dish and some other things that had baked food on it. Baked on spaghetti sauce was gone without a trace.

It took me a bit to figure out how to hook it up, the kitchen faucet didn't have the threading but once I got it hooked up it was very easy. It was so easy to get started I thought I was doing something wrong. It's not very loud either which is nice! I highly recommend this dishwasher.

Set up was a breeze, 5-10 minutes total. They also package this thing in a serious manner, there were wood slats in the box keeping things secure.

Immediately ran a load of dishes after hooking up the hoses and everything came out great. I've had another brand before and the configuration of the dish rack in this one is superior, it allowed me to get 3 days of dishes in the machine without any fuss. (Household of two).

6 star dishwasher of the future. Economic, environmentally concious, beautiful. I heart my HCCD

This does what it promises at an unbeatable price and high end customer service. I plumbed this as a regular dishwasher and it works beautifully. I was installing some new modular Ikea kitchen cabinets, and found that the cabinet where of my dishwasher was supposed to go, was just an inch too small and too tight. I started looking for 18" wide dish washers which would still be an issue in terms of the install and would require cabinet modification, and came across this little miracle. It is as if it was built specifically to live in this ikea set up, it fits snug as a bug. It is all we need for a 2 person family in terms of capacity. And it is easier to het a teenager to empty, than a two rack machine. It is very sleek looking, actually my plumber thought it was a printer. The dishwasher I had to part with it was a beautiful Samsung standard 24" build in period it was as quiet as they get. Meanwhile with this dishwasher living inside a cabinet it is quite possibly even more quiet than the samsung was.

The shipping was incredible fast. It came 2 days prior to when I expected it. I have to call service once and I got somebody on the phone within minutes. The dishwasher was a rapt to endure the end of the world. I have never seen such custom construction to ensure a safe trip. I have been reusing a bunch of the protective packaging for my construction job.

This is the best thing to happen to apartment dwellers since rent control.

We live pretty simply and happily in our 500sq ft. apartment. We're also pretty thrifty and eat most of our meals at home. So in a place this size, one dinner is enough to flood the sink, the stove, the counters with dishes. I had always begrudgingly been the one that did them. He takes care of plenty of choress. Anyway, life happened and I ended up pretty darn sick since May of 17. I somehow stumbled on these countertop dishwashers and was obsessed. Seemed like a lot of the were pricey so when I stumbled on this one, figured what's the worst that could happen? They are all built the same essentially.

Upon arrival I was worried it would be difficult to setup or not fit in. Nope. All worries for naught. Fit right in the corner and the coupling snapped right on. Hot water. Soap (I use fancy hippie soap) and that weird blue stuff. I am lazy even when it comes to the dishwashers and halfway preclean. Never had a dish come out bad yet. If I don't stock it right or overstock, that's on me. It just works. It's reasonably quiet - dare I say more than a conventional and quick. Snap off the coupling and all is right in the world. You have sparkling clean dishes an

This has truly been a life saver as I am still recovering and will be for sometime. Even though nearly all other chores are out right now, I could do the dishes the first day home from the hospital. If you know you're going to be home a lot, you want the place clean. The washers fits about 1.5 days worth of dishes from two people easy.

If you are on the fence about this purchase and it meets your needs, BUY IT! Your quality of life will improve. My only regret is not finding this sooner.

Things that might throw people off would be if you are a big cook. It's just not going to take large skillets and pasta pots. Having the right space to put the thing so it doesn't interrupt whatever chi you have going on. We were lucky. The look is light and basic so it blends into just about everything.

Why are you still reading? Buy the thing!

Hard worker!

4.5 stars rounded up.

It takes up a decent amount of counter space in my tiny kitchen, so I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but it is so well worth it! I love having a dishwasher again.

Set up was a breeze - I did it myself in about 10 minutes flat. Hardest part was removing a piece from my faucet (couldn't find my grippy wrench (pliers?) at first). Can take a regular dishwashing detergent and also a rinse aid.

Cycle time varies depending on which you select (from rinse only to deep clean) but ranges 75-120 minutes. I cook a lot and have a hungry family of four, so I usually run the machine twice per day, and handwash any large items. I easily fit the stated amounts of dishes in it - and the accompanying manual is informative with an included diagram to help you find your way.

Dishes always come out squeaky clean. It makes a small amount of noise, but it's barely noticeable.

I'm so glad to have this addition to my kitchen.

Just okay- not really sure it was worth it

Pros- this is the cheapest portable dishwasher out there. For that reason, I decided to just plunk down the money and give it a try. I live in a small studio and cook pretty much all of my meals from scratch due to severe food allergies so I always have tons and tons of dishes to do. This dishwasher really doesn't hold very much, unless you were to have the exact sized dishware that the company shows in the pictures of how to load the dishwasher. My dishes never fit in perfectly like that.

Anyways, to cut to the chase- this doesn't wash very well. There is still food and grime on my dishes after I take them out, and I totally pre-wash. Also, it is loud and takes almost 2 hours to run- during which you have to have your tap from the sink turned on the entire time. You can't turn on this dishwasher and head out to dinner, or turn it on and go to bed. You have to be around to turn off the water when the cycle is done- that is super inconvenient for me. You also can't use the sink for that entire time since the water supply is diverted to the dishwasher. This dishwasher also does NOT dry dishes at all. Everything comes out covered in water.

I honestly feel it is easier and more efficient/cleaner to just wash the dishes on my own- by the time I struggle to load them properly into this thing, connect the hose to the faucet, etc. run it, then have to rewash the dishes that didn't get clean- I'm more exhausted from the whole ordeal than I would have been by just doing everything by hand.....

So.... not sure I think it's worth it. If it were a larger two-level portable washer that I could load much more into I think I would feel differently- kind of regretting not going with one of those.

My grandmother has never had a dishwasher... She had always been in the kitchen hand washing dishes, especially during the holidays. We always tried helping her but she never wanted us to miss out on spending time with family. She was so excited to receive this for her 81st birthday. It was easy for my husband to install and works well. I recommend this!
