Just received this ladder, will be testing it out this summer. I did extend the telescoping ladder, and tried it out, wanted to see if I could get to my gutters on the house, no problem plenty long (15.5ft as said). There is a slight give (bend) as you climb the ladder, but not bad at all, very strong for a telescoping ladder. My other regular ladder would sink into the ground, this ladder, having large bottom legs does not have this problem. No problem bringing the ladder down, slide buttons work well, just keep your fingers away, commonsense. Nice not having a long ladder to drag around, this is short and easy to carry and store.

Easy, compact, sturdy, collapses slowly

The important thing with a ladder like this is that it doesn't slam down on your fingers when you collapse it. This one has a built-in shock absorber mechanism that allows it to collapse slowly. It's compact, easy to deploy with two sliding buttons for each level you raise, and sturdy enough to work on.

The steps are a little narrower than you might be used to, so your foot can rock a little bit on each step. This is a small price to pay for something that is compact and "luggable" to carry around.

Smooth but not shaky

Usually, I clean gutters twice a year to protect the roof. It is an exhaustive job since my step ladder is not tall enough nor can stand still on the land. One of the main reason I chose the new ladder is that hooks on its top can hold the gutter. I was a little bit shocked when opening the case. It is such a typical example of a superb industrial design. All levels pull out smoothly and fall back freely with zero friction, but not shaky at all while fully extended. And every step has a sloped skidproof extension which comforts longtime standing well. A canvas bag is also included in the package for carrying and storage. The only glitch comes from removing the cap covering the hole for the hook, which is a tiny tight. Other than that, I can't be more happier with the ladder, after the first use last weekend.

Great Ladder at a Great Price

There are a ton of ladders of this type available on Amazon. I chose this one because of the overall rating, the high number of total reviews, and the very detailed description on the Amazon site. Also, the price was as good or better than most other ladders available. I got it today and I'm not disappointed. It appears to be made well, it is definitely lighter than I expected, probably because of it being well balanced, and it opens and closes easily. I especially like the fact that when you want to retract the entire ladder, it glides down smoothly and slowly. The included instructions were also very clear. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Light weighted Ladder

I have used the ladder a few times and it seems to work very well. It's convenient to transport, to extend and retract. It's real lightweight and easy to store. It fits in a car trunk. I would recommend this ladder to anyone needing an extension ladder. Make sure it stands on solid ground though.

Ladder is stronger than expected

This ladder is stronger than I expected for the price. It weighs almost 25 pounds, I'm over 200 lbs and the ladder barely bends when I climb it. Very stable.

I got this ladder to climb on top of our camper, I'm glad it's 10 feet tall, I wouldn't want it to be any shorter.

The ladder collapses down to 33" and easily stores in the rear compartment of our camper.

The ladder collapses slowly to avoid pinching fingers, a nice feature.

When collapsed there is a strap that keeps it collapsed and a build-in hand grip for carrying.

I use the ladder around the house because it's so easy to take from room to room.

I bought this ladder mostly to be able to store in a small place. Its easy to move up and take down, but you have to be careful, it can pinch your hands. I used it to climb up to see how much damage was done to my screened porch. I probably should of bought a bigger size because I notice it recommends that the ladder needs to be at least 1meter higher than the landing point. I bought the 8.5 it still works but I would of felt safer if it had reached up higher.

Very good concept. I've wanted a latter like this for a while now. I'm a property manager and need a little ladder often for small jobs. It will be nice to not have to cart a big ladder around It seems well built and the adjustments are solid.

Light weigh right-sized ladder

This ladder met my expectations. It's large enough to cover everything I need, and light enough to get out and move easily around, while still being a strong and sturdy ladder. Yet it's small enough to stand upright in my Inside the staircaseI. am able to use it to clean out my gutters of leaves and also to better paint an inside staircase long in need of paint
