Perfect for little girls!

I bought these for my daughter to use for dance. She needed double buns for one of her performances and quite frankly hasn't got that much hair!!! All the "dancer" hairpieces are too large for her head - she would've looked like Princess Leia! These are just the right size and seem like they're going to work well.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the end of the hair isn't secured. The buns don't actually "wrap" like normal hair would. The hair is only a couple inches long and just sort of folds under (see image). Not a big deal for everyday wear but they would bounce around and get messy during a dance performance so we will need to use hair nets.

More realistic than you'd expect at this price!

Truly impressive quality, better than I thought! I got the "Chestnut brown and blonde mixed" style and it matches my hair perfectly! The bun itself doesn't actually have long hair in it, more like a circle of short hairs, but as you can see you genuinely can not tell! It looks super real, and I even fooled my relatives that I had grown my hair out since they started saw me a few months ago!! As others have stated, this really requires you to already have hair long enough to act least put in a top knot (mine it just a bit too short, so i slicked back the tip with some matte pomade by BYRD to keep it from falling forward and ruining the illusion. Also, the light colored string you see in my photos is *relatively* easy to hide, I just wasn't paying attention when i put it on. Seller is super nice too and emailed me with updates about product Rosicrucian both before shipment and after, it's a niche market but if you're buying for real style or for a prank (like me) then i 110% recommend this one!!

I ordered the Dark Brown bun, as I have a darker hair, and I liked the look of it, myself from a mirror. I've been letting my hair grow out and it was getting fairly close to bun length, so I ordered this product to help me get the rest of the way. Unfortunately, no less than 6 people started laughing at me for my bun. They said it didn't look natural, looked stuffed, didn't blend with my hair well, looked fake, the hair was a different color, etc. It was then that I noticed that the hair turns a purple-ish tint in the light and didn't match my natural hair in florescent lighting at all. Overall, this would be a great product if you're not going to get close to anyone, but up close it doesn't pass.

I've gone through all sorts of extensions and hair buns through my journey of growing back my hair. But I have to say, these are the best cheapest hair buns I have owned. Not only are they pretty affordable, but you also have the option of getting one in a smaller size than what is normally sold on amazon. It looks way more natural on my head and the color blends great with my natural hair color. I ended up getting a second one to do more hairstyles with and I could not be more happier with my purchases :)

Tip for darker brunettes: These pictures are the only ones I had showing even just a part of the bun and I wear the bun lower so it is hard to see, nonetheless, I thought I would add in that my hair is a semi dark brown color. Its not as dark as it is in the photo and the bun is a tad darker than my hair color, but I would reccomend black brown for deeper brunettes.

This bun was used as my hair is in a short bob, but I wanted a realistic but to wear when hair slicked back. Looks very real and very easy to use. The 3" was perfect and not to big or fake looking.

We purchased this for use during Color Guard / Marching Band season. My daughter is in the color guard and has short hair. The style for the guard is a bun on top of the head. This piece is nice and tight and should fit any thickness of hair. She does a LOT of moving, body and head, and the bun stays tight. It matches her hair color nicely. My only small problem is that the hair wrapping around the bun is loose (I'm sure to look more natural) but we need all hair pinned back. The fix is easy though, a few bobby pins and we are set!

Ordered the Medium Brown, which I thought had more red in it than the picture online, contacted customer service and they replaced the item with the Chestnut Brown + Blonde bun. So happy with the purchase and the friendly, fast customer service. It will make a great gag gift for my balding brother.

I bought this bun for my daughter for her ballet recital because she needed to put her hair in a half bun. At first I was skeptical that it would work and match her hair but it matched her color perfectly and after I cinched up the draw string and put a ponytail holder around it it held tight as she pranced around the living room and it looks like her real hair. I am so glad I found this product I included a picture of her with it in and a picture of the back of her hair so you can see how short it is
