I bought this for my son's 13th Birthday. He was really excited and couldn't wait to open it up. Setting up the App was quick and easy. The stand to hold the phone is sturdy but I had to remove the phone case (a really thin one) and it pinched at the screen protector. After about 10 minutes of play the phone/app was starting to lag and the device its self was very hot to the touch. This might be an issue with the phone (Galaxsy S7 edge). Overall a great product and he uses it all the time (just in short bursts because of the phone overheating). I do recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their soccer skills.

Ball goal shooting feature does not work

This ball did not work as promised. We tried various iPhones & iPad and the feature that's suppose to allow you to practice shooting in the goal never worked. We had numerous emails exchanged with the company who could not figure out why this was happening except to say the ball we received was not defective and they were still "looking into it." Eventually the company just never emailed us back with any solutions so we returned the ball. SO disappointing as my son saved his money for months and months to purchase this.

Amazing ball!! Great for any skill level. I play ECNL and there are a number of exercises challenging enough for me and many for beginners as well. Super fun and worth the money.

This has been a great training tool for my 13 year old female soccer player.

Easy setup and clear directions to follow. It can be used indoors as well as outdoors. The app is very user friendly and great tracking dashboard tools.

Please note that you will need to buy an additional cord in order to hook this up to a television.

Earlier this year, I bought a couple of SMART BASKETBALLS from DRIBBLEUP - one for myself and one for a high school varsity girl's coach. We both love the DribbleUp ball and app (my handles have improved drastically)! So when I learned on Kickstarter that DribbleUp was bringing their AMAZING SMART TECH to soccer to help people improve their futbol skills, I had to get a couple of their SMART SOCCER BALLS (to give away since I don't play soccer)!!!

I knew a coworker's daughter was interested in improving her soccer skills (she's in middle school, plays in leagues, and is looking to play in high school), so I gave him the ball I got on Kickstarter and he texted me after using it:
"The Dribbleup Smart Soccer Ball is awesome in many ways, The app provides daily lessons featuring different drills combinations that you can filter based on your level of experience.
