For fun, this game gets 5 starts

For fun, this game gets 5 starts, for functionality 1 star, hence the 3 star rating. Crown does not set atop anyone's head correctly, but we adjusted and made it work. It is an absolute riot if you can fix that and we had about an hour of belly laughing while 9 of us ranging from 5 to 65 took turns. I hope they can figure out a way to improve the for of the crown so it's even more fun!

Frustrating and Disappointing

I was so excited to get this game for Thanksgiving. I just knew it would be a hit for the kids. But it was a disaster. It took about 30 minutes to put together. The crown would not stay on anyone's head, and if you tried to adjust it, pieces would fall off. We only got it working about 3 times, and no one was able to even get close to reaching the food. If they moved their head at all, the crown fell off. First game I ever bought that made kids cry. This game is fun dea, but is not designed well at all.

Waste of time and money

Waste of money. Took over 30 minutes to put together. Kept falling off my 8 year old son"˜s head so he was not able to get to any of the food. Finished the gamein tears. ( well we never actually started in the game, it was that bad) I would strongly not recommend this game.

Waste of money, didn't work for family - kids or adults

Another one of those items they make look good on TV but doesn't really work. Very hard to adjust to stay on head or to make it so you have any kind of chance to get a bite on a treat.

It was a family gift, so we didn't use it until after no option to return - in the trash it goes.

Not for smaller kids, stick with age recommendation. HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE!

This was a very bad experience. My 3.5 year old seen this on youTube (Ryans toybox). His head is quite small so it was really hard to keep the 'crown' on , all the forks kept falling off from holding it, and if you bump into anything more fall off, plus the food falls off... It was just a really bad time. Half of us still had fun watching, the other half didn't want to join in the commotion (10 year olds that were annoyed by all the prep)

Honestly, If I ever bring this out again its going to be on a night with a house full of drinks and adults once most of us have had a few already.

Back to the drawing board
by Alexandra Daley-Clark (1 out of 5 stars)

This looked funny, and like it would be a great idea for a party, but it doesn't work. It is almost impossible to get it tight enough to stay on your head. For people with long hair the forks catch the hair. The food never gets close enough to eat, even with adjustments. It needs to not be so heavy, and there needs to be a way to have it fit to different sized heads better. Back to the drawing board. Fail.

You get what you pay for I guess...

Wow, this game is cheap. It's a BUNCH of strange pieces of plastic that do not properly stay together. Within 5 seconds of use, all of the parts quickly come flying off. It was also a nightmare to put together as it is a strange contraption. My nephews thought it was fun. Of course I had to physically hold the crown onto their head because it's WAAAAY too large for a child but I guess their 5 minutes of happiness was worth my 40 minutes of frustration haha.

Just. Don't do it.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this purchase. First, it doesn't exactly stay on. Unless you make it so so so tight that it leaves a terrible mark on your forehead. Second, the length of the song is different each time so it's not exactly fair. Third, it's so difficult to handle because if you touch it wrong, the arms holding the fork falls right off of the crown. Fourth, it doesn't rotate all the way around. It just goes back and forth the first three or four forks. But it moves enough that it's difficult to manually hold the head piece down.

It's ridiculously cheaply made.

And I hate it. Such a big let down because I had high hopes for it.
