The Weber 7137 Tank Cover dresses up your grill

I recently purchased a Weber Genesis II S-310 gas grill at Lowes. It's a nice looking grill but the propane tank is just plan ugly, especially with the tanks refilled by Blue Rhino or Amerigas. They look like they've been repainted 20 times and the plastic wrapper around the tank looks low budget. The Weber 7137 Tank Cover is totally unnecessary but it dresses up your grill and helps hide the ugly tank for around $10. The cover is made of high quality material and the logo lets everyone know that you have a Weber. Only drawback...it's a bit difficult to get the cover on the tank....similar to getting a large person into a Speedo...but looks much better once it's on.

I like this tank cover a lot. I don't have a closed area for my tank storage, so this cover works to protect the tank somewhat from the elements, and dresses it up a bit. The only caveat is - beware of spiders nesting inside it! I put my garden gloves on when I remove it, and I check to make sure that spiders are not around the valve when I turn the gas on and off.

Protective cover and product loyalty in one.

This is something we did without, and I now wish had picked up a long time ago. I like to keep the L.P. gas containers clean and end up washing the dust off of them several times a season. I've been trying to maintain the plastic manufacturer shrink wrap label as well, but due to the plastics being UV sensitive they tend to breakdown. This cover allows for protection during those times the main BBQ cover is removed. I'm very happy with its form, fit, and function. Ok, I also like to see the Webber name on the side of the tank.

Looks great

Decided to take my Weber Q1200 out of retirement and got a fresh new 20 lb. propane tank. Instead of letting the new tank be exposed to the weather like I did with our previous tank to the point where it became an eyesore, I decided to wrap it up with a cover. Love that the material matches the Q1200 grill cover, which means high performance and durability in all season weather! Plus the color scheme matches the grill-mat setup. Love it, simple but awesome.

Another high quality product from weber.

Purchased a Genesis II LP which has the tank hanging on the side of the grill. Side skirts cover most of the tank and connectores but our view is from the right side so we could see the tank and all of its rustitude. (Geez! How old are these tanks? But then we are in Florida - land of mold, mildew and rust...) So I buy this cover hoping it would improve my view. It has. For the price, it offers a good solution for my issue and it appears to be well made and of good material.

Purely Aesthetic - but Awesome!

Bought this to make my propane tank a bit more visually appealing. On a Weber Genesis, the tank isn't concealed underneath the burners like it is on the SPIRIT, so I coughed up the $10 to buy this. I'm very glad I did. The fit is perfect and it really sharpens up the look of my grill. If you're going to spend $900 on a Genesis, you my as well spend $10 more. You won't be disappointed.

Essential accessory

I almost didn't buy my new Weber because of the less-than-fashionable, exposed propane tank. Then I saw this. Weber, for the price, these tank covers should come with the grill--an inexpensive alternative to manufacturing cabinet doors. Maybe my favorite fashion accessory of the season.

Good quality, seems UV stable after about a year. Looks good.

When I look out our patio door from our family room couch, I see some of it every time. I wanted a good one that was attractive/blends into the cover since it is almost next to the patio door. Very happy. It's durable and looks like new after a year open to the elements. Easy to put on or take off on tank changes. I'll never buy the cheap stretch sleeves again.

Exactly what I was looking for...

We got a new Weber grill last summer- the grill itself is so attractive, I didn't want to see the dirty has tank every time I used the grill. I think any Weber that shows the tank should come with a cover for the price of the grill! But for $10 this was a great solution with the Weber logo!
