The enclosure is made from MDF, the front panel is aircraft grade aluminum; which also serves as the heatsink for the amplifiers to keep the them cool when the party is hot. This ensures it will play full volume for hours without overheating or shutting off. All 14 speakers use neodymium magnets for high performance, light weight, and low distortion. The amplifer is hi-fi class A/B and uses optical analog distortion limiters so you can turn it all the way up without the losing sound quality!!! 4 subwoofers, 2 midbass and a mulimode 8 tweeter array in bi-amp or tri-amp configuration via mode button. The front panel has 3.5mm aux input for highest sound quality connection. The backpanel contains the charging port for the included fast charger and IN and OUT 1/4 inch stereo TRS jacks for linking mulitple units together which can be controlled from ONE volume control. Included charger charges fully dead DiamondBoxx to 100% in 6 hours. Hand built in California, USA. 2 year warranty on parts and labor.

We bought this for a family gift. I must say watching their reaction was an unforgettable memory. The whole family was so amazed and surprised at how cool the Diamondboxx is. They felt like they "were at a concert". The diamondboxx had amazing sound no matter what genre of music you're playing. Great songs with high bass were very enjoyable to not only listen to but to watch as my children got close to the Diamondboxx unit to watch the woofers "vibrate" and to see their hair blow back from amazingly strong sound waves was a great laugh. Listening to Trans Siberian orchestra for Christmas was exhilarating. The Diamondboxx is Bona fide!

UNBELIEVABLE!

I have been looking for a loud bluetooth speaker with a decent battery life, and came across the DiamondBoxx XL. I saw some of the video reviews of it on youtube, and decided to bite the bullet.

It took over a month for it to arrive as they are back ordered. When it arrived- WOW! The sound is amazing. Very clear and great range. And, when needed, it can CRANK. I brought it out to an outdoor party last weekend, and ran it for 5 hours, 3 of which were full volume, and it was still going strong. It was the absolute hit of the party.

This unit sounds so good that I am buying a second one to use as my home stereo. (The two XLs can be wired together.) This will replace my (very!) old Klipsch KLF-30s powered by a 500watt Adcom GFA-555. The XL sounds WAY better.

Finally, the people at DiamondBox are great to work with. Super friendly and responsive. Also, I found a cover for it on ebay that fits like a glove.

I uploaded a video of my Heineken can dancing while my son DJs. ;-)

Pure Sound

I have two other high end blue tooth speakers; Klipsch Stadium & Naim Muso. They are great speakers but are not portable. When I first powered up the XL, I could not believe how pure the sound was. It didn't matter whether I was listening to Hard Rock, Jazz, or Classical. The bass is a monster with absolutely no distortion no matter how high you turn it. The highs are crystal clear. I have mine in my 10' by 10' office & I have it only turned up between 1/3 & 1/2 & it's like being at a concert. I have a $15K plus sound system (Pioneer Elite SC37, high end Polk Audio, & Wharfdale) & even though I can pull more sound from it, I'd rather listn to the XL because of the sound quality. It is a work of art made from the very best materials & components available. The people from Diamondboxx are incredible and are there for support if needed. It's good to know that the best can still be made in the USA.

Oh boy this thing is crazy loud.that low end in the SP mode is really impressive.thumb up to the diamondboxx team.
