Hi everyone!

JUST WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO SPEND $1,300 ON A AUDIO SYSTEM FOR MY SUV, I HAPPENED TO RUN INTO A YOUTUBE VIDEO ON THIS SPEAKER. I STARTED DOING MY RESEARCH ON THIS SPEAKER. I'M SO GLAD I DID.

I TOOK THE "DIVE" AND BOUGHT IT.

I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW LOUD AND CRYSTAL CLEAR IT SOUNDS. I'VE TURNED IT TO MAX VOLUME ON AND OFF FOR 3 WEEKS; AT AN AVERAGE OF 2 TO 3 HOURS MONDAY-FRIDAY AND THE BATTERY INDICATOR IS AT 20%. ABSOLUTELY NO DISTORTION AT THE HIGHEST VOLUME. I MUST WARN YOU ALSO... RESPECT THIS BLUETOOTH. IF YOU GET TOO CLOSE TO IT AT HIGHEST VOLUME, YOUR EARS WILL RING FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I PLACED IT ON THE BACK OF MY SUV AND THE REST IS HISTORY. WHAT'S AMAZING IS, HOW GOOD IT FELT TO TAKING IT OUT OF MY SUV TO PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FRIEND'S BACKYARD BARBECUE (IT WAS AN INSTANT PARTY).

NOT ONLY DID I SAVE $400 ON A CAR SYSTEM, BUT I'M STRESS FREE OF HAVING THE OPTION TO REMOVE IT FROM MY CARGO AREA INTO MY HOME ; KEEPING IT SAFE FROM BEING STOLEN (YOU CAN'T DO THAT WITH AN INSTALLED SYSTEM)... I FEEL LIKE A KID AGAIN.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPEAKER TO EVERYONE WHO LOVES MUSIC.

After using it for over a month, I had to drop off one star rating. I tried to give it a chance going back and forth with different genres of music. My final thought is, that it lacks greatly in lows on bass. I recently purchased the Exos 9 Speaker and got what I was looking for... BASS

Expected too much, was disappointing

I assumed for the price it would have the power of a $300 JBL Eon 10" or Mackie + $300 worth of lithium battery. After buying and testing the Soundboks2 at home I was disappointed with the power and battery life. The battery is a 98watt/hour battery, this means at 98watts continuous power you have one hour of battery life. If you try to get the 8hour life the manufacturer claims, you'll be producing 12watts of sound. For reference, a 10" JBL Eon can produce 500w of continuous sound. If you are accustomed to throwing parties with real PAs you will be disappointed.

Loud, awesome bass in outdoor mode, basically indestructible. Good battery life too. If you're only using for indoor listening maybe go for something else, but if you want portable LOUD sound for every possible condition the Soundboks 2 is great

Be careful what you buy!

First off, the product didn't arrive as stated. It arrived 2 days late, and upon opening box, it was discovered that product was used and is not in working condition. The Soundboks was inoperable. The only thing that works is the battery, which was able to power my friend's machine. There is no customer service with this product. Completely disappointed as my friends convinced me to purchase one in the first place. Normally, I would rave about my friends Soundboks, but when it comes to my experience, make sure you check before you buy.

Extremely Impressive!

Pros:
* Lighter than I expected it to be.
* Extremely loud and clear.
* Battery life is astoundingly amazing!
* Input availability are various and work well.
* Durabilty is exceptional.
* Secure Bluetooth with no one being able to kick you off. Once you're locked in and playing, it becomes invisible. There is no memory or auto connect. You manually connect which is nice in this case. You don't want to turn on your Bluetooth and it auto connect to something you don't want and repeatedly have to try to work a way around it.

Cons:
* If you look at the details of the assembly, mine had the screws assembled misaligned.
* The battery I received was faulty, but still functional. There was a rattling noise as if there were loose pieces inside. I contacted customer service and they replaced my battery quickly. They responded with the highest level of professionalism and friendliness. It took about two weeks for me to receive a replacement battery after inspection.
* The Bluetooth 3.0 is extremely limited by distance at 10-15 feet. That is WITH a line of sight.
* The static/hiss is common in a lot of speakers, but for some reason it is very loud in mine.
* Bass levels start to peak out at higher volumes.
* At max volume the audio losses it's clearity.

Overall:
* Such an amazing speaker! I love music and I love having something like this being portable. Not relying on an external power supply is such a plus. I definitely received 80 hours of playback at mid level volume. It lasted me all weekend. It sounds great at level 8-9. After that it becomes slightly distorted. To an audiophile you definitely notice it. To a common person who wants to rock and roll, you'll never notice it. You'll only notice the impressive sound this thing is outputting. There are a lot of areas they can improve on. Quality Control would be one of them. If you're hesitant on pulling the trigger on this purchase, don't. I waited two months and watched YouTube videos and read reviews. If you don't have a sound system in your car, all you need is this! With the right set up you can get the best sound for your car if you're on a budget.

I've owned numerous sound setups for beach , bbq's etc. including multiple ice chest stereos i've Constructed Over the years. I purchased the soundboks to see how it would perform.

This speaker is meant to be used outdoors. I used it indoors and was not too impressed at low volumes. HOWEVER, if you turn down the volume on the speaker and turn the volume on your source (eg. phone) to max, then you get a great bass response and it sounds a lot better. This really shines though when you bring it outside and crank it up. I had a beach gathering the other weekend and people absolutely loved it. It started people dancing immediately. This played so loud even despite all the wind and ambient noise. The bass is so impressive for outdoors which is very hard to achieve. Also, it played at near max volume for about 3 hours with bass heavy music and the battery it is still over 60% full. Great work on this second model.

Very powerful speaker!

Alright I took a little bit in order to write a review so that I really have this a try. It is definitely a very awesome speaker that is for sure. For the price I'm glad I wasn't very disappointed. It's extremely loud that's for sure. When I first got out I gave a try with it in my neighborhood at my house to see how it sounded and got met by some upset neighbors and the cops being called on the account it was to loud.

It's a very different kind of loud. Like you could stand by the speaker with it at max volume and doesn't seem that loud but the sound carries very well. I've noticed that you can make it louder and sound a little better if you use like a equalizer on your phone. It's crystal clear when the music is turned all the way up and won't have a problem with a loud abnoxious sound. Doesn't have as much bass as I would have thought. The blue tooth is a little weak you don't want to get your phone very far from it or it will start cutting out. I mean all of like 25 ft away. The battery lasts insanely long. I bought the extra one and didn't even make it thru half way on the original one.

I used it for 5 days recently at a festival camping and didn't have an issue with it at all. Battery lasted perfectly. Sounds amazing and makes people come over and check it out. Your really not going to use it as much as you think at full volume. Unless you're throwing a party. Very heavy built, handled the sun and heat, and the weather elements very well.

Is it something you need. Probably not. I wouldn't buy another one again but when you use this thing it meets my expectations. I'll be using it at festivals when I camp just so I can have some loud clear music for everyone and since I don't have to worry about the thing dying. I only do primitive camping so no way to have any electricity. Very cool speaker tho and definitely fun to use. You'll over power anyone else's music so make sure everyone around you likes your songs haha. Thanks

THIS SPEAKER IS INCREDIBLE. A real head turner at the beach. Literally started a beach party where ever I planted this thing. People will nestle themselves near you as you play music. You literally become a DJ. One of my best purchases yet! It's expensive but its safe to say that you wont find anyone else with this bad boy.
