SwitchID Installation

[1] PREP: Tighten screws and clean the switch plate with an alcohol based cleaner. OPTION: Remove screw where SwitchID will be placed to ease future removal of plate and create a flat surface for the SwitchID. The plate will stay just fine with only the bottom screw(s).

[2] PLACE: Gently apply the SwitchID over the switch plate screw or on the switch ensuring proper alignment.

[3] PRESS: Firmly press on the entire surface of the SwitchID for complete adhesion once aligned to your satisfaction.

NOTE: Do not use cleaners on your SwitchIDs for 2 days. This could disrupt the adhesive drying process.

CLEANING: Made of automotive grade polyurethane SwitchIDs can be cleaned with any house-hold cleaner.

REMOVAL: Carefully work a non-sharp tool, that will not damage/scratch the switch plate, under one edge of the SwitchID until you can grab and remove the SwitchID.

These are a huge lifesaver. I just moved into a new house that has a ton of light switches to fans, lights, track lighting, garbage disposals and it was insane trying to keep it separate. This has helped so much. I love the discreetness of the design, you don't really notice it unless you are looking.

Glow in dark does not work

This review, for the glow in the dark labels only. Some worked, some did not, got a second pack.

It had the same issues. Will keep them for daytime visibility.

Wow! What a great product! Sharp looking, easy to read (love the glow in the dark option), simple to place on switch plates. We have them in our vacation rental. No more guessing for our guests which switch is the ceiling fan, the hallway light or the table lamp. Also put a set in my mom's apartment. She's having some memory problems so the Switch ID's are really helpful for her. Glad we found these Switch ID's!

Quality and function in one!!

LOVE THESE! Have these at home and buying a set for my parents. So many builder-installed multi switch wall plates are now easily identified, and with kids and grandkids visiting them it will help with "which one is the front porch?!". We like the garbage disposal, we put plate and silverware sticker on the dishwasher switch, and need the front yard lamp labeled as "don't use" so light stays on. They have never come off and blend in perfectly!

Definitely, not worth the cost of the labels. I was only able to use half of them. I was better off when I used my label maker to label the switches.
