This is a metal block robot building platform with extensive DIY capacity, and made of anodized aluminium with a mature look. You can build your own robots with growing options of parts, and go endless with your imagination.

Transformable Shapes
Before you start, pick the favorite character to begin with. Qoopers has 6 members, and each of them is different in look and functions. In addition, you can build any other forms as you want!

Drag-and-Drop Coding
In "My Application" center, there is a graphical programming environment based on Scratch 3.0. Not only can you control Qoopers in sequence, but also use variables and loop commands to create sophisticated programs.

Obstacle Avoiding
Relax and just play! The ultrasonic sensor contributes to an obstacle avoiding mode. You're not going to hurt Qoopers, or your furniture.

Face Expressions
Qoopers comes with multiple emotions. Apart from the presets, you can define more emoji using the LED dots Matrix customizing interface.

I was looking for a tools/toys that I can introduce some of the robotics and programming to my son. I come a cross with this product and I decided to order one. It is arrived very quickly, well packaged and presented. It is very impressive robot with high quality metal materials. It took us about 2 hours to finish. We followed the instruction on robobloq app. Multiple functions as advertised and it worked great. We had a great time while we are building and it kept my son busy until the battery run out . There are six other models to test and explore and we will give them a try as well. This is definitely took us a different level of fun and learning. I strongly suggest this fun robot to everybody.

If your son/daughter is glued to an iPad daily then this is a great bonding toy.

My son and I built this little robot in about 45 minutes. Download the app for full instructions to build different builds

He wanted to build his own so we didn't follow instructions. About like he follows mine

We called it gimpy.

He built most of it by himself (7years old)

It even lets you program it with pre written code

Great toy to get the mechanical mind going. !!!

Qoopers - Most Comprehensive, Extensible Robot Kit for the Price

Qoopers really combines a slew of options at a great price point for a robotics kit.

First of all, Qoopers has six different configurations possible. So far, I've only built one of them, but the one I did build (Explorer) was relatively quick and easy with setup instructions using their phone or tablet app (both iOS and Android compatible). Also, he's made primarily of metal, so he won't easily fall apart or break for most components.

Next, the options available with Qoopers for coding and controlling him via the Robobloq app are easy to use and comprehensive. I feel like there's a depth of usage after he's built, which makes him a great robot kit for parents who want him for their kids to learn. I bought him for myself, so take my advice on this part as you will.

I do have one complaint that the tire treads keep trying to slide off when I use him. I think I need to tighten the screws for the back wheels more, but that's my own fault as I don't have my own toolset. They did provide both a free extra screwdriver and a screwdriver in the kit itself, but I didn't have anything to keep the screws stable while trying to turn them, and the location for the screws on the back wheels made it difficult without some type of vice grip while turning the screw.

All in all, I'm very impressed by how good this robot works. I am happy with my decision to purchase him.

Great Little product

I bought this for my Granddaughter who is 7. I wanted something that she could learn to build and work with her hands as well her mind.

This gave her the understanding of following directions as well increasing her reading skills then following through assembling the unit. We both had great time working on the Robot.

The only draw back I have is the Drag and Drop programming for the Robot not being the brightest Grandpa in the world I am still working on that. I wish they had more information on that portion otherwise a lot of fun for Granddaughter and Grandpa.

I would say this is one of the best choice for kids if you want to engage their time a mechanical / robotic research.

I sent this robo as a gift to my nephew and n iecw.. this is the second robo they are playing with.. 1st one is a total waste of money which I bought it from BEst buy and I donnot have any regrets on buying this one.

PROS : kids will love DIY a robot there are 6 types to build .. everything is wriitten in the app and you just need to download it. worked on Andriod tablet. Material of the whole product is good. I give 5 stars for it.

Good way to experiment new things for kids .. Kids are really happy so I am happy with this item..

I just have to say WOW!!! What a great product...

Don't hesitate buying this one, I already own most every other "Robot" kit out there, from EV3 to home-built.

First off, the packaging is just as good as Apple, and that was a great first impression.

Secondly, the iOS App worked perfectly, turned bluetooth on and it connected without any issue, every time.

Build quality is second to none, machined anodized aluminum, with smooth edges and very accurate hole alignment.

CONS:

Motors seem good quality, great compared to some others, but wish they had better low speed control, mine needed 60% speed setting to initiate movement, but it may just need a break in period.

WISHLIST

Like the iOS App for "Basic" programming but would love to have some sort of SDK or other resource to take full control of all features like the LED matrix or just have full control of the other ports.

I want to say OMG!!! I bought this for my nephew, but when I open it, I was almost ready to keep it for my self!!! It is amazing!!! I really like it!! I played all day , I constructed for couple times and I played little with programming and it`s doing amazing stuff!!! I`m sure my nephew will love it!!! And I`m really happy because he will play with programming and constructor and he will learn a lot!!! For his age it`s really easy to learn him with educational toys and have fun in the same time!!! ~ Thank you!!!

We started with Sphero, and after that bought Robobloq for our daughter.

It similar, but the much more advanced robot, as you have to build it from scratch. But it also has more place for creativity and possibility to build six different models.

Actually, the robot is easy to assemble with step-by-step instructions in the mobile app, which works perfectly on iPad. With the same mobile application, you can control it, play sounds, and change the images on the screen, etc.

The only disadvantage for us is that the robot uses 6 AA batteries, not a reusable accumulator.

Great buy, totally worth the money. The frame is made of metal, very solid. Kids are very excited, played all afternoon after building it. You can build your own applications/small programs to run the car.

Several things to reminder: the instruction doesn't come with package, it's in the app. Some of the steps might need help from grown-ups. The connection cable from screen/small display to battery cassette is a little tight, you might have to try to make the cable attach to the back of screen to make the connection to the battery cassette. Overall, worth the money and time.

High quality STEM toy

This is great for kids that have the patience and desire to build a robot. Build quality is excellent. The instructions are simple enough for most kids that can build Legos. My 7 year old son really gets a kick out of the custom programming feature. It's a fabulous introduction to software and even mechanical engineering concepts. Totally recommend this. One small gripe is that the drive motors are a tad weak.
