My dog almost got hurt because the release lever unlocked while running and he got away. Dangerous product. They should do a better product test. My dog is very active and is 39lbs.

We use this to take our Australian Shepard out of trails in the mountains. It is about the perfect length. The quick release it perfect for more tricky situations. However the belt itself is a little snug on me. I wear a women's size 16 jeans, so if you have wider hips this might not be for you.

There is a water bottle that's supposed to slide in the back but fell onto the ground within 60 seconds of me starting my run, which is a little disappointing for a $70 belt.

I'm Downgrading this review because Everytime I look after that belt and think I spent $70 on something that was probably cheap to make but doesnt work right makes me a little naeseous.

I bought this product at the beginning of the summer and it has done a marvelous job! I have also used the crap put of it and there are not visible wear and tears. Totally recommend it

I use this with a 90lb ridgeback. I was a little concerned that the way the leash attaches to a strap wouldn't be secure, but I can say we have thoroughly lunge rested it, and it is very secure. I use my own leash with the belt; I don't like the springy leash - too little control when I need it. But the belt is comfy and works great!

My biggest concern when buying this was if the quick release would hold up with my reactive pup who also hunts all the birds/squirrels. I will say we have had several lunging issues while running and not only did it stay solid and not budge with the leash connection, but I felt the belt gave me good control over him and the situation. As far as a running belt, its great and better than anyone we've used in the past. Prior ones would be super uncomfortable after a bit with his excited running style and this one felt like nothing! I LOVE the easy access treat pouch which we use often when we come across "distractions". The belt doesn't bounce on long runs and isn't too heavy even when loaded with treats and water. My only small complaint is while I like the leash, I wish it had a handle at the collar latch so I could pull him in if needed. With that said, I'd recommend it to any one who runs with their dog, even those pups who can be a bit more excited.
