I bought this to use while camping. The thing is brand new and I've used it on two camping trips. The first went fine. The second trip, after the first cup, it stopped working all together. The light comes on but nothing happens. I purchased 4 "expensive" batteries for this and now I have a product that doesn't work at all. VERY UNHAPPY!!!! I purchased this in October of last year. Anyone know how I can return it???

Makita DCM501Z review Cordless Coffee! Just when you thought you had everything....Makita DCM501Z (tool only) brews a quick 2 1/2 cups at a steaming 165-170 degrees per charge on my heavily used 5.0 Makita battery with a couple years on it. Not too bad. Probably 3 cups with a newer battery. Just the thing for the complete cordless set up. Takes hotel size coffee packets or loose grounds in the included reusable filter. Definitely taking this out fishing (ahem)... I mean to the jobsite.

Feels like a waste of money. Cool idea, just not made well. The batteries are crazy expensive and to have a power cord option would have cost them nothing. Disappointed.

Nice Build. But buyer beware, you need to supply your own battery and filters. So it's a current paperweight till I invest in a battery & Charger.
