Proven to attract, trap, and kill mosquitoes, fruit flies, moths, and more, this plug-in trap attracts flying insects with a warm AtraktaGlo UV light. The insects are then trapped by the non-toxic StickyTech glue card, which sits discreetly behind the decorative cover. This sticky trap plugs into any standard 120-volt outlet and covers up to 600 square feet of living space, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, bedrooms, and more. Additionally, the base of the fly trap has two AC outlets to plug in additional devices. The package includes three replaceable StickyTech glue boards and an AtraktaGlo UV bulb rated for 3,000 hours.

No on-off switch. Poor design for the way it's supposed to be used.

It's a bug light with some flypaper next to it. two pretty simple concepts put in one device and I won't fault them for that. If you go to home Depot or other websites you'll see that they spam all of their reviews. It's terrible fake everywhere so it's kind of hard to find real information. The device works okay. I'm not sure that it's the greatest thing like many reviews say but it's pretty good. I definitely would not buy it again however. The bulb is supposed to last 3,000 hours which is 125 days. If you only run the bulb in the evening that will last you 250 days. I purchased the device that has AC outlets but it's worthless. There is no switch to turn the light on and off, so you're forced to unplug the entire device when you're not using it. What's the point of having AC outlets on the device when you have to unplug the device anyway? or your stuck with a bug light glowing 24 hours a day until it burns out in 4 months max.

This device needs a manual on-off switch.

If you still decide to buy it don't spend the money on the ones with AC and USB.

Works as advertised
by JAD (5 out of 5 stars)

This works as advertised. We often leave a sliding door to our deck open and don't close the sliding screen so flies get in the house and circle endlessly trying to figure how to get out. They drive our dog crazy (and us too).

Bought one of these and plugged it in. A soft blue glow from the light attracts the flies and they land on the sticky paper and die. We have seen a marked reduction in live flies since we received this a few days ago. I checked the sticky paper (which is out of sight) and saw about a half dozen dead flies. We had our sliding door open all day today, a beautiful, warm day, and didn't see a single fly.

I would highly recommend this product, it is attractive and works well.

DynaTrap definitely doesn't discriminate against bugs. 😁

My wife bought a crap load of bananas along with other types of fruit and vegetables that caused our kitchen to become inundated with gnats. I saw the commercial for these DynaTraps and took the plunge immediately. Thank God! I did because 90% of the annoying gnats were gone within a few days and the smarter ones took a week or so for them to finally give in and join their buddies in the "Blue Light Special District", aka/sticky trap. 😉

Makes a nice nightlight.

Makes a nice night light. Had in a room with several flies for several days and didn't catch anything. Even tried two different outlet locations in the room. And yes the sticky pad was installed correctly.

Spectacular First Night
by rhhardin (5 out of 5 stars)
May 31, 2018

Spectacular kills in the first night, of some tiny insect that goes towards windows at sunset (so is attracted to UV). Probably several hundred killed.

A bug zapper in the same room didn't kill a single one.

The plug assumes a ground-on-the-bottom orientation. It will work inverted but you have to prevent the glue card from falling out.

If inverted and just over some flat surface, put a mouse glue-trap under it and you'll multiply up the kill numbers a great deal.

It works!

As you can see in the picture, this thing works! I'll be ordering another one next week. The light is pretty bright, so I wouldn't suggest it for a bedroom, but it's perfect for the kitchen. I can get some water in the middle of the night without having to turn the florescent on. I'm so grateful to have an unscented way to get rid of the fruit flies!

2 months .....1 fly
by REOL HELP home repair & Remodel (1 out of 5 stars)

Well, I live in a condo. I am on the ground level. It just so happens that where the door is it is an environment to collect flies for some reason. When I open the door they dash into the house! during the summer months is the worst! I have tried so many things to prevent these bastards from getting into the house! Through frustration I saw this unit and got excited! It must work! I believed. Well, it has been 2 months...only 1 fly is stuck on the paper. The blue light is crazy bright at night. You will not need a night light this thing lights up everything but flies are not attracted to it.

Omg I have never written a review but this thing works! I have a ton of indoor plants and this is the only thing that has ever worked for getting those nasty nats! Love it ordering 3 more for a total of 10 - I LOVE THIS LIGHT!!! I have zero nats flying around my house:-)

Works great, good style, buy it!

Very effective at small flying insects and even some type of crawly things. Does not trap mosquitoes - well, none that we've seen. Once you've had this for a few weeks, the bug population lessens and you'll catch few if any.

Only issue is the glue/sticky stuff on the card will melt onto the device over timeand you'll have to be very creative to remove it as it's really sticky stuff. Would like to see that problem resolved, otherwise an excellent choicefor in house pest control.
