Took our dog less than five minutes to figure out how it worked. Absolutely loves it! Not sure who is more entertained us or the dog! Obviously do not leave this hooked up during the hot summer, it is not a water fountain it is a toy! Make sure the water is an acceptable temperature before hooking it up to play.

not for little dogs

When we tried to have the spicket on low, it didn't work. We slowly opened the valve as we tested it to see the lowest setting to have it work. The first time our little pomeranian used it, it went up his nose and scared him. It is now in our neighbors yard getting a workout from her dogs when she lets them have water time. They love it so much, its their play time. If she were to leave them alone with it, they would "attack" the water so often it would flood the back yard. I guess we are the two extremes. The idea is ingenious and its a great product if your dog understands its purpose. lol

My golden retriever loves the water and he figured this out pretty quickly (he's not super bright so I was impressed 😂). It was easy to attach to my water hose as well. Ryver is a bit obsessive about water so I'm not leaving it out. For him it's a toy, not a hydration tool, so he will be supervised.

Great product. Works exactly as intended. My dog likes the fresh water and keeps him cool in the yard. No leaks from the hose connection side. The water height is adjustable.

Took about 10 minutes to get the pressure right so it wasn't to low or jetting out. Then it broke and wouldn't turn off after a week.

I had to buy this because they stopped making the doggie fountain, and that was my favorite device ever, after 5 years my doggie fountain finally stopped working correctly and I didn't feel like fixing it. This product didn't live up to the abilities of the doggie fountain, the amount of water it puts out is minimal in comparison and it pressurized the line making an initial squirt, scaring my dog. I tried using the adjustable valve and that still made it squirt. The only way it didn't squirt is when I nearly turned the water off and that wasn't enough water for a Great Dane. Overall, I was disappointed and will be returning this product and taking the time to fix my doggie fountain because that worked amazingly

My German Shepherd looooooves this thing. It definitely is a toy rather than a fountain for her, but she will play with it for hours. I'm sure less energetic breeds would use it for it's intended purpose. After a couple of play sessions, it does have a constant stream of about a foot (we keep the hose on full blast) but I'm sure that's just from her stomping her 90lb body on it so much.

I love it so much I want to give it all 5 stars but a month in it is sticking on. Not ok for the water bill if I don't catch it. I've washed it and just can't see why it's sticking randomly in the on position even after my dog has taken his foot off.

Oh and my dog loves it more!

My city water pressure is too high for this solution. Another review mentioned this too, if the sun hits the hose you could burn your dogs mouth. Sending back, and I wouldn't waste my time if I were shopping.
