Loved the Idea but Breeds Bacteria

This worked great for the first few weeks, we took care to handwash it each time. However, I think the fact that it is flexible and the knife cuts through this easily made it susceptible to bacteria. The light color oak began displaying dark greyish black grains where the knife had cut into and was difficult to get out so we had to throw it out. Bummed this didn't work out for us.

New favorite cutting board

This cutting board has some nice features not found in other flexible cutting boards. First of all, its heavier than I thought it would be. Unlike cheap, thin, plastic boards, it just feels substantial. The silicone backing has enough weight to keep the board nice and flat on the counter surface. It also grips the counter and doesn't slip around while cutting. Not only does the wood top provide a healthier natural cutting surface compared to plastic, it just looks great! My wife and I both agree that it looks nice out on the counter rather than hiding it away in a cabinet. We have applied butcher block oil to the surface a couple times already as recommended. Honestly, I was a little concerned about the care this board requires but it only takes a few seconds to coat the surface in oil. I think this product is quality and will last a long time if cared for properly. I definitely recommend this item!

Shows knife cuts in wood

When I first got this, I loved it, almost ordered another. Glad I waited because I started to see knife cuts in the bamboo wood. While that would not normally bother me, I only had them a short time. and it also means I must be careful about cleaning so that bacteria doesn't build up in those cuts.

I do love the way the product is put together, but I don't think those cuts should be showing so soon.

The product arrived as advertised. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the product after reading some of the reviews. Especially about the wood de-laminating from the silicone. I took pictures when the product arrived. especially the edge to ensure that there is no de-lamination. We oiled the board as instructed. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The 3rd picture shows the oiled board.

Fourth picture shows the product in use. It is an excellent product. The quality is high and meets my expectations. Simple care should take the product long ways. Thank you CleverOne.

I bought this board a little over a week ago, and it's been great so far. It's very solid when using it as a cutting surface, but it's flexibility has eliminated dropping food during transfer for me. It was also a lot less difficult to clean than a regular cutting board as i could bend it and fit it i the sink, and didn't splash water all over the counter :^)

I did some early Christmas shopping and bought a number of these, plus one for our household. ;) The design is slick, modern, and high quality. We'll look like the "cool kids" that discovered a neat new product when people open their presents. It's a great space saver too! So far, so good. *Reminder: this is a wood product and therefore should be treated as such...make sure the wood stays moist and treat it with oil as often as needed.

Really loved this idea as I struggle with my plastic flexible cutting boards staying put, and prefer the look and feel of wood. But this failed for me big time. The board splintered and cracked and is discolored after two uses and two washes! So disappointed:/
