Swiss Army knife of BBQ flippers

One of the things I liked about this utensil is that the handle, covered in wood sandwiching the metal tang is very stiff. Compared to a flipper I had from an expensive set of tools, there is no give which is good when you want to pat down a burger or any other meat. I tried the cutting edge on some 1" NY Strip steaks to test for the level of cooking (ok, I know that is not recommended but I'd rather not deliver overcooked food) and it easily cut through the meat without needing a fork to hold it. Its length was ok for me but others may want it longer but for my 27" PGS grill it was long enough. Cleaned up as one would expect. I haven't tried to sharpen the edge but if I do later, I'll update this review. A nice tool to add to or replace your BBQ tool set.

I purchased this for Fathers Day. I love the quality, it's very sturdy. My husband says it's so versatile, you can use it to flip, pierce, cut and tenderize. It has a long handle and it's well balanced. Great gift!

Great gift for the bbq or grilling enthusiast. Great conversation starter during events too. Used a few times since getting the boss and everyone is surprised by it especially when I pop open a beer bottle with it. With some practice, I can cut meat without using a fork. The only thing I did not use yet is the meat tenderizer option. Easy to wash and clean. Wooden handle is easy and comfortable to grip. It is light and easy to handle. No need to carry so many utensils anymore. Great as a gift. Kinds makes me feel like a grill king even when I burn the food.

How have I existed for decades on this planet as a supposed "grillmaster" without this amazing tool? Why did I not know about this before? Say goodbye to irritating tongs (they never work well, or the caveman-like way of using the grilling fork for everything: this "all in one" tool truly solves it all. It's thoughtfully designed, so you don't accidentally use the wrong area, and it worked with burgers, sausages, ribs, chicken, and more. This is the gift every grill person needs, even if, like me, they had no idea it existed.
