Love this Powerbank
by izwan (5 out of 5 stars)
November 22, 2018

It is very good, but big and heavy almost 1kg, compare to a normal powerbank but this one is the whole package of goodness. Product is very solid, and feels very high quality

USB C
- It has 2 USB C, and each of the usb c can be configured to do Auto/Input/Output, so you can set one as input and the second one as auto (this is how i set mine) best part, you can charge this with another powerbank (not all powerbank work). My normal 5v 2.4amp powerbank manage to charge 10w to the input while my usb C PD powerbank manage to charge 39w (PD 45w).

USB A
- It has 2 usb a and output 5v 2.4amp, so its just like a normal usb power

AC
- Max 100w 110v modified sine wave, well i have only use it to power some fans and lights for now, but it seems to work well, the AC will consume 3w when you turn on the AC, so 1 10w bulb will register 13w and 2 10w bulb will register 23w, i tested it for 4 hours (while charging with USB C PD) the fan kicks in when the device is hot, it is a bit loud, but the fan seems to only kicks in when using the AC (i never use the USB C over 40watts and the fan never kicks in with only USB C and USB, even while charging)

Qi Charger
- well it charges at Max 5watt but i don't have anything to try it with, so i don't really know

Testing

When this Powerbank is Charging and at full capacity (100%) and is being use by some other stuff that uses it, i think minimum 10watt++

it will continue charging the powerbank while powering other device that is is connected with it (input via 8mm Barrel Plug/solar, or any 2 of the USB C).

If it is charging but there is less watt than 10watts(i forgot maybe less or a bit higher) the charging input (8mm or USB C) will stop charging and will start drawing power from the powerbank, don't worry because when it starts to drop to 90% the input (8mm or USB C) will start to charging again.

The Solar Input works very well, as i use the goal zero extension cable, the Goal Zero 12" MC4 Solar to 8mm Adapter Cable and use a 3rd party solar panel (100watt Panel). It works well as it will charge at maximum 50watt.

The USB C PD charger, seems to only charge max at 50-51watt (i'm using a 60watt PD Charger) i don't know why it cannot be charge higher to 60watt as describe by goal zero, maybe my its my charger.

I use this powerbank while connected with macbook 12, ipad, iphone, 2 USB fans and 1 SSD which is all i need for my daily use

all in all, it is a very good love it so much with the features. I almost bought other AC Powerbank, luckily this product was release few days while i was searching for the best AC powerbank for me, and this came in the right time

Great Concept, falls short for laptops though...

The battery is well designed, has great features but definitely lacks enough wH's for laptops. I purchased this with hopes of using it with my MacBook Pro, I used it once and it didn't even last two hours on a full charge. I understand the reasoning for the low wH's with the travel restrictions on LiPo batteries though so its kind of hard to get around that.

Enormously Useful!

I've had this product for about a month now. It has helped me out enormously several times each week ... with remote work for my company, during power failures, and as a reliable power source when travelling long distances. It is reliable, easy to use, and charges quickly from a wall outlet. Still haven't tried it with alternate charging sources yet. The wide range of connectors are very helpful, especially the standard AC outlet. Some people have mentioned that it is a bit heavy, but I have found it to be quite light weight and portable. It has a huge mAh rating, so of course it will weight a bit more than a mobile phone portable charger. I carry mine in my backpack along with my laptop and have never had any weight issues. Great product!

Excellent, high-end product compared to much lower priced power banks.

I am very happy with my admittedly premium-priced Sherpa 100 AC power bank. I like the high quality of my Sherpa 100 and the additional inverter feature plus the safety factors built in to the product. I use my Sherpa while on duty as a volunteer EMT on lengthy ambulance shifts.

My only snivel is that I missed the free travel pouch offer by a few days when I ordered my Sherpa 100 and when i did place a separate order for the < $10 item, the bill would have been closer to $27 with tax and shipping costs. Yikes. Guess I won't have one unless Amazon can carry the item...

Best regards,

Francis Smith

Highly recommended!

Superior quality power bank. My Goal Zero Boulder 200 solar panel can power this thing 0% to 100% in about 1.5 hours with full sunlight. I use this power bank to charge all my Goal Zero Lighthouse Mini, Lighthouse 400, and Streamlight Super Siege lanterns. I use my lanterns to light my rooms at night without home electricity. This can also power a small Vornado fan for about 1.5 hours. Highly recommended. I wish you well.

Accessories

I am still breaking in the device. However, The 45 Watt charger should be included with the Sherpa 100 AC.

charging with even a 5 Watt charger is inconsistent and insufficient.

So Amazon should offer the charger and the polypropylene case which I had to order separate from Goal Zero.

The product is amazing so-far, further testing in progress.

Good pack for the money

Very good product. The only thing that was unexpected was that it didn't come with a power cord to charge it. I thought when I read the description it said it included four cords, I assumed it included that.

Portable and Convenient.

Bought this as a way to recharge my electronic devices during a hurricane related power outage. Charges great with my BigBlue 63W panel (came with an 8mm adapter). Only feature I'd like to see is a file transfer ability. For example, if I plug an external HD in one of the USB ports and my tablet in another, I'd like to have the ability to transfer files to/from the tablet.

Great for field recharges!

I work as a traveling photographer and film maker, this has been perfect for charging cameras, laptops and drones in the field. It charges well off my Goal Zero solar panel and is light and small enough to carry easily.
