This was 100% worth the price. My husband saw Rhett & Link off of Good Mythical Morning try it, and wanted to prove that nothing could possibly be hot enough to affect him like that. He was wrong. We both tried a small square when this arrived in the mail, and oh man. These people are not joking when they say that this is the worlds hottest chocolate bar. It hits you like a brick, and does not let up at all. Milk makes the pain worse. Seriously, your mouth will be on fire for at least 20 minutes. Its great.

This stuff is definitely hot! However, I think the videos you see online are a little exaggerated(the ones where people only eat one square). Doing the whole challenge would certainly be brutal and most people would probably fail. This is definitely worth some good reactions from friends. I would not suggest doing this on an empty stomach. Burn lasts about 5 min from one piece. This was shipped with an ice pack. The actual quality of the chocolate is top notch...if it want for the chili extract it would taste quite good. Will order again to try the full challenge.

Bought this for my husband as a stocking stuffer. It arrived earlier than expected which is great. I kept it in the fridge for two days (since it came with an ice pack I thought it best to keep from melting). He cut it up into the 12 squares planning the challenge where you eat a square every minute. All it took was one. It was maybe 5 seconds before he was demanding milk and hitting his fist on the table. Spit it out and chugged his milk then threw the rest away. According to him, there was no flavor only heat and pain. So in his loving heat it definitely exceeded expectations. It was so bad seeing a Hershey kiss hours later made him wince. Gave it 4 for lack of desireable flavor.

I am giving this a 3 star rating. When I ordered I somehow overlooked the size of the chocolate. If I was rating solely on size, it would be a one- even lower.

Reading the reviews, someone stated that Quaker Steak's wing challenge was worse. Honestly, Quaker Steak is disgusting; their hottest sauce is way too sweet and has very little heat.

I am legally blind, I did not read that one square is one serving until moments ago. I ate it all at once, letting it melt in my mouth.

I thought the chocolate was delicious and I could not ask for a creamier chocolate that melts in your mouth.

As for the heat...

I LOVE spice and heat. I can eat multiple Paqui Reaper chips. My favorite chocolate fondue dipper are whole habaneros (not the hottest pepper, but incredible flavor). I have never found a truly hot and delicious hot sauce. Most sauces with good heat have zero flavor.

Some say this wasn't spicy, I wholeheartedly disagree. I LOVED the heat!!!! Maybe it made a difference popping the entire bar into my mouth???

There definitely is heat; absolutely a perfect amount of heat and flavor. The heat took a moment, but once it kicked in, my mouth was burning, eyes watering and nose dripping- it absolutely cleared my sinuses. The heat was enjoyable, not overbearing and lasted a few minutes. I for one, would prefer a spicy food with great flavor than something only a tad spicier that has no taste or tastes horrible.

If my review was based on taste, texture and heat; I would give a solid 5 stars. However, the bar left me wanting more; much more. The price was outrageous; I absolutely won't pay that again.
***Would love for them to make a normal sized chocolate bar with this amount of heat and flavor!!!

Worth it for the fun.

I bought this as a fun joke this Christmas. We all had one square and boy were we surprised. It starts out manageable and we all dealt with it but then... BAM suddenly half of us were stuck at the sink fighting over the water and the others started a battle ( very much like in the thunder dome) over who got the little bit of milk that was left in the frig. Tolerance is a big factor but the burn will haunt you for a good 20-30 minutes. This is totally worth it for a party challenge.

First off, the bar is really small. That being said, once you try it, you are happy it is small. I did 3 squares in 3 minutes and had to tap out. First square and I got uncontrollable hiccups. My nose was running. I had tears streaming down my face. Why did I eat two more? I drank some milk and ate some bread. Two hours later, it still felt like a hole was being burned through my stomach. Props to those who can complete the 12 in 12 minutes challenge. I do look forward to eating the rest of my bar though, slowly over many weeks.

I thought this was going to be unbearably hot but it wasnt. It was definitely extremely spicy but from the videos I have seen people seem to over react. The spice hits almost instantly. It feels like someone is jabbing your tongue with a hot needle. The burn also carries to the gut. My eyes watered up a bit but no tears, sweating, or hiccuping. The burn lasts about 15-20 minutes and your tongue will be tingly for about another 20 minutes. The heat is easily dealt with by cold water unlike other hot stuff I have tried. The taste of this chocolate however is pretty gross. I let mine melt on my tongue and swirled it around and it was not a pleasant flavor.All in all its a neat thing to try.

Very hot but not as bad as I was expecting

I tried a single piece of this chocolate bar last night and it was pretty stupidly hot. My biggest issue was that I started coughing at some point so my throat was feeling bad but drinking didn't really help the situation. I let the chocolate melt on my tongue and for the first few seconds the chocolate tasted just fine before the heat hit like a brick wall. After 10 or 15 minutes though the effect pretty much wore off and no other after effects so far.

Is great burns for good 10 mins. You get very dizzy...

I asked to some of my friends I'd they want some chocolate inside they said yes and it's very funny to see their reaction they started jumping up and down very confused on what's going on..... then tears.... runny nose... red face.... they all grabbed their ears in pain... very expensive but it's fun..

I bought this to give to a coworker who always boasts about being able to handle hot foods. He didn't handle this very well, and I loved it. I actually had 3 coworkers try it (I can't handle hot stuff at all) and all 3 of them pretty much died. The package arrived melted but that's because it was over 100 degrees outside, and there's not much you can do about it. Although they did provide an ice pack and tried their best to keep the chocolate cool. I would buy it again if I ever had the need to, it was a great experience.
