Stale and GROSS.

I love Tapatio chips and a few of the other spicy kinds of Doritos so I bought these thinking great! Portion control! Perfect to keep in a snack drawer at my work. I opened my first bag maybe a week after these were delivered and ate one chip and threw the bag away. They were stale and smelled like a factory. I thought hey, maybe it's a fluke. So a few days later I opened another bag. NOPE! Same thing. Stale, gross, smelled like a factory. I am honestly not hard to please and usually leave good reviews..but this is not one of them. Would not recommend.

Rather stale; the expiration date was one month past the delivery date. I expect this might be common for these types of deliveries.

Not like the description on the website, that the product I received only got 13 days before expiration.

I placed the order on Oct 31, and received the packet on Nov 07. The expiration time is Nov 20.

I purchased these chips because of the price and the size is good for my lunch. Both are fair, btw. The problem is the sell-by date. Imagine my surprise when opening the box, all the chips were dated 7/30/2019! For me that is in four days, just don't eat chips that fast. I work in a very remote location and get supplied by helicopter once a summer, so there is no chance for me to return these chips after buying two boxes.

All that being said, the chips won't suddenly go bad 7/30. It is just that I'd expect a better price and some explanation in the details that the sell-by date is within a short time of delivery. Count on me not buying anymore food from Amazon, never had this problem with Walmart.

If you are buying this because it's a gamer pack, beware. I got the chips, but no game code, which is exactly why I bought it. They promoted this gamer pack, and provided the link to purchase, directly from the Doritos Track Rescue Win webpage. The Amazon description states:
"From now until 6/30, your purchase of select Doritos items will give you 15 attempts to rescue dinosaurs for a chance to win epic prizing AND entry into an exclusive sweepstakes to win JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM film memorabilia. Visit Doritos.com to bank your code for a chance to win".

While I like Doritos as much as the next person, I'm not happy with the code omission because it is clearly stated in the rules and promoted on both the Doritos game site and the Amazon site that this package includes game codes.

Love all the flavors and its the perfect small size for a snack. The only downfall is half the bags expire in 3 weeks and wished it was a later date.

I bought the Cool Ranch Flavor Doritos 40 pack. I didn't even think to read the reviews because this is a product I purchase regularly at my local grocery store and at Target. We know its a favorite in our home. I was thrilled to find a pack that was ALL cool ranch as most variety packs only include 2-4 packs of this flavor. The day this box was delivered, the bags all had an expiration date of 30 days away. Considering its a 40 pack, this is not good. In addition, chips are usually 2 + months until expiration. Flavor wise, they were not stale. I can't speak for what the flavor will be like two weeks in or more, but will definitely update my review later. I've only had these for a few days.
