A few downsides, but overall a good choice.

Overall we really like this projector. It's for a 7 year old, so the simple remote and fun interchangeable slides are great. It's not the prettiest thing I've ever seen, but the kid loves the options, the different light colors, and the rotation feature. It is definitely a step up in maturity level from the more babyish projector we had before and it's a huge hit. I also love that they are LED bulbs, so I don't have to worry about it getting hot when it's running all night long.

There were a few things I didn't like, but I knew them going in and they weren't dealbreakers. First, the cord is really short. This is going on a nightstand and it just barely reaches the plug at the bottom of the nightstand. Is 3-4 feet really asking too much? Also the cord only plugs to a USB, so we had to use a spare brick to connect to an outlet. Again, not a huge deal since we had an extra, but really? That should have been included. Another thing is that the rotation is only able to be turned on with the remote. Hopefully the kid doesn't lose it... The last negative is the timer. You only have the option for 1 hr, 2 hr, or no timer. It would be nice to have more liberal options there.

Overall, for the price, I am willing to overlook the negatives. It's a nice little unit and will hopefully last a while.

Best nightlight for a child!

Absolutely awesome. Serves as a projector for stars, dinosaurs, and other cool things on the ceiling and around the room. Or put the lid on for a nice table lamp. My son and I love this thing.

Remote control is also great and allows you to adjust brightness as well as set the timer. For $25 it's money well spent I wish I'd purchased this a long time ago.

Not the best

Not the highest of quality. There are probably about a dozen or so of these types of lights on here, all the same. Stopped rotating after a week. I will rotate after I hit it a few times.

This is not great.

Idk why this projector is so dim. I had another one of the same type and it was great. I think it may have something to do with the films that are provided. They come across on the wall blurry. The nightlight feature is great, but as for the projection, not so much. Also, the "galaxy" film which is basically why I bought the unit, looks NOTHING like the picture. They photoshopped a pic of a galaxy for that. False advertising for sure!!

Projects Well & Easy to Use.
by Christine Hanes (5 out of 5 stars)

This is a huge hit with my son. With the cover off, it projects the images on the ceiling & walls in his room. With the cover, it's not very bright, but would be nice for someone who wants just a little bit of light. Easy to switch the images & they seem sturdy enough to last more than five minutes, which is more than I can say for the last projector styled light we purchased. I haven't tried the timer option yet, I'm not sure how if or how it works. It doesn't come with physical instructions, you have to download them, which I just haven't had a chance to do yet.

Cool but flimsy
by stacy Emden (3 out of 5 stars)

Pro's: Very cool looking. Lots of films to change out. different color lights are cool.

Cons: NOT TODDLER PROOF!!! My toddler LOVED this, so much so that it only took him a couple of months to render it completely useless. We tried to keep him away from it but I sincerely think that he was so determined to get to it that it gave him the reason to learn how to climb out of his crib. We might get something similar when he is a little older. It wasn't just not toddler proof, it was very light weight and cheaply put together.

Super cute

I just got this and I'm in love with it. I thought that it will be for my 2 year old and he loved it. It has 3 dimmer settings, it rotates and different colored lights. The cable is a bit short but it can be used with batteries.

So far so good

We have gone through several types of these units and they have all failed in the past. This one seems to be a bit sturdier and I like that it is dimmable, so it gets 5 stars for now.

Not for little kids that like to play with things..Cheaply made
by Shell924 (2 out of 5 stars)
July 22, 2019

It's cute, but i have a feeling it going to last a week. My almost 4 year old likes to play with things, even when told not too. Very flimsy, and not designed to be played with. Remote back fell apart before even used. If you have an older kid, that won't play with it, then would work.

Great little projector
by Megan B. (4 out of 5 stars)

This is a really good projector. Using it in my 3 year olds bedroom and he loves it! Room is about 10ftx10ft and picture is clear on the two closer walls, still visible on others but blurry and faint. Comes with different pictures and that is fun. Would be nice if there were additional pictures to purchase or different pack options. But overall its a great way to wind down before bedtime!
