I love this sprinkler. I have always had fan sprinkles. This year I got serious about watering so I got a impact sprinkler. OMG it’s another world now. It covers so much and is so controllable and puts down a lot of water. You do have to turn your water up a little to get it to work. When you figure that out it’s perfect.
I love this sprinkler so much I got another for my front yard and my yard has never been as green. I just wished I had bought it earlier but next year I am ready. It takes less time because it puts down a lot of water. And they are so cool.

We have had this for three weeks now and very very happy with it. It gets used for about three hours every other day and is working great! I would have liked it to have been heavier, but the light weight seems to be plenty durable and doesn’t “walk” when we set it out. I would not hesitate to purchase this item again if the need arises. I have used a traveling sprinkler for many (10+) years and changing caused some apprehension because I believe “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it”. However, this seems to get a better, more even spread of water.

Maneuverability: 5/5 - This sprinkler has an excellent range of motion which makes the maneuverability of it top notch. I typically use it in a 180 Degree Fan sweep motion, but I can quickly reposition it and change it's rotation to a full 360, or any other setup I want.

Light weight: 4/5 - Dinged one point on this because while the sprinkler is very light weight. While 9 times out of 10 this is an advantage, it does require me to load a small little heavy flat rock on the end of the base. This is because I have noticed the sprinkler will lift itself off of its base if you have it spray to the sides of itself, (or at the ends of the 180 angle for example). Pretty easily remedied by adding a little bit of weight to the base. I've seen others drill a small hole to add a bolt to the center to secure it in, but this works fine for me.

Sturdiness: 4/5 - The product feels very sturdy. I have left it outside since purchase and see no wear and tear nor do I assume there is any reason for that in the future. I knocked off 1 star here for the same reason as the "light weight" rating, because I think having to use a rock or other part to secure it could fall under both categories.

Overall: 4.5/5 - Overall I love this sprinkler. I purchased mine about 5 weeks ago and have used it 3-5x a week since then. (I've been giving the front and back lawns a lot of TLC before spring/summer this year). I was impressed with how far the sprinkler could reach, and how consistent the spray pattern and water distribution is, both of these are important factors that Amazon should actually include in their rating for the product. It's also very easy to adjust on the fly. You can adjust the height/distance of the sprinkler with the silver plate above the water, which can be pushed into the stream to cut down on its power/distance. There is also a small screw to the right of the sprinkler head which can be turned to impede the stream of water as well, to offer more adjustments. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple solution to water a small or medium sized yard, as it works well and requires very little adjustments.

Works OK but, has two design flaws ...

While it's 'not' heavy duty - not by any stretch of the imagination, it's OK for the money. I've used two of these over the past few years and both suffer from two design flaws ... 1) the metal where the hose connects will crack over time; see attached photo, and 2) the insert for the thumb screw that holds and controls the water deflector loosens, making it difficult if not impossible to tighten the thumb screw, at least without a pair of pliers. Even with these weaknesses, I bought another as a replacement as they otherwise work pretty well, again considering what they cost. This time, however, I'll keep the receipt in case either of these problems occur while under warranty.

Have two of these units going now for two consecutive summer watering seasons. Used almost daily, they have great coverage, limited for height but I run both at the same time and both provide perfect coverage for 50'. 360 deg. coverage. they are hard to throttle back the range but if used for full coverage awesome. no issues for me as of yet. would recommend for city water supply.
small expense compared to thousands of dollars my neighbors have spent on inground sprinkler systems. my grass is just as lush and green with these units.

Our metered city water requires flow restrictors [full pressure low volume] on all outside taps and this means even the best wave type sprinklers advertised to do 30' x 50' only wet a 4' x 8' patch. This pulsating sprinkler will do the 50' width of my yard. I've only used it for a week but the design is simple and all metal so I expect it to last more seasons than a wave sprinkler. Of course it does a 50' circle so I have to set it up to do half a circle and move it get complete coverage (the wind fills in the missed spots) ... or buy two which I'm considering.
