Product Description
No more flats! Slime's Emergency Tire Sealant seeks out and instantly seals tread area punctures in automotive tires up to 1/4" (6mm). When a puncture occurs, Slime’s patented sealant is carried directly to the source. The pressure of the escaping air forces the particles into the opening, where they build up and intertwine to form a long-lasting, flexible plug. Instantly, air loss is blocked and a flat tire is prevented. No jack is needed to repair your flat tire, and the sealant is safe and easy to use. Don’t rely on roadside assistance (which can take up to an hour to arrive, leaving you in a dangerous situation) or on your spare tire (which is usually cracked or flat from lack of use). Instead install Slime in any of your highway vehicles (including cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, trailers and much more) when you get an emergency flat tire to get back on the road quickly and safely.

I had read some negative reviews on here prior to purchasing but that has not been my experience. As long as you follow the instructions it is super easy to use & works well.
There is a measurement on the side of the bottle but once you start squeezing it into the tire you have to wait (several minutes) for it to settle back into the bottle to be able to see how much you have left.
Seriously, I don't rate many products 5 stars, but this is hands down the best thing you can have in your car next to a quality portable tire inflator andt those emergency window breakers.
It's easy.
First, make sure you have a way to add air back to the tire. This is important as you have to completely deflate the tire.
To start, move the vehicle until the valve is in the upper half.
Now you're ready: use the black slime cap to completely deflate the tire (it removes the valve core so the air will escape), twist the cap off the slime, take the white seal off the slime, slide the tube on the slime, connect slime tube to the air valve, squeeze until you get uncomfortable and then squeeze a bit harder, and it will eventually hit air
Continue to try and empty as much slime as you can making sure the bottle is upside down so the slime can continue to funnel down. Justttttr keep squeezing.
Pop the valve core back in, blow up those tires, drive around for five minutes.
Boom, you just saved yourself hundreds of dollars for tires
The hardest part is squeezing the bottle in, but that's it. I've used it four or five times and it has never failed me.
The cool thing is it will show you what punctured your tire once you drive around so you can get to get it out. They recommend that in the instructions but I've never had to.
Seriously buy it. I'm buying two more botrles right now
Installing can be intimidating if you don’t have an air pump you trust.

I installed the slime as per the instructions which was easy and it instantly sealed the small punctures. After 2 weeks there has been no loss of pressure and I'm hopeful I can continue to use the tyre until the end of its wear life now.
Update 12 months and 14000 miles later no problems and I haven't even needed to top up the pressure in the tyre once. In regard to Freeport 2's comment I know what I am doing and carefully checked the tyre for damage before installing Slime, no one has been put at risk. I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent solution for anything except minor punctures where the structure of the tyre has not been compromised. It's certainly much safer than driving on a space saver tyre !
Jan 2017 another 12 months 12000 miles and no problems. The tyre will need replacing due to wear shortly.
