Nice, but the finish is anything but rustic.
These are pretty cool, but they definitely didn't look "rustic". They had a thick coat of shiny brown paint and looked like they had simply been been dipped in a paint bucket and left to drip dry. I did strip the paint off with solvent then seasoned them in a hot oven much like you would a cast iron skillet. Now I have a really cool accent for my living room.

Solid and has weight to it BUT it doesn't look rustic at all, just painted. Like other reviewers, it's good for dress up or to leave hanging on a door or key holder for decor.

I purchased this as a decor to tie in front of a distressed, old book that I made for my coffee table & this can NOT be used for that.
