Drips, locks, & needs Ace bandage

Drips, locks, & needs Ace bandage
CONS: 1) Immediately after 1st use, the soft cloth cover acting as the loop in the Velcro system peeled away from the vinyl icing bladder. The cloth cover is entirely loose from the vinyl bladder. The 3 square hook pieces aren't long or large enough to act as a secure fastening system. SOLUTION: Ace Bandage works well.2) the hoses are indeed insulated but not nearly enough to be honestly advertised as such. The joints where the hoses connect to the bladder are not at all insulated so they condense water vapor. Water drips from the joint and all along the hoses onto the floor and bedding. SOLUTION towels on the floor & along the hose.3) the lid for the ice and water is so secure that a great deal of effort is required to pry the lid open. SOLUTION butter knife4) bladder will airlock if the pump is not turned off when changing ice & water. SOLUTION remember to turn the pump off.PROS: It is indeed whisper quiet as advertised. Full of store-bought ice, it runs cold 4hrs at a high setting, about 6 at medium. The hose is long enough to cover the distance from the bedside table to the near leg. Far leg? Not without running under or across the body.Sellers might be wise to reconsider the use & definition of "holistic" in this advertisement. This product is NOT greater than the sum of its parts. The manufacturer OSSUR would not honor any warranty or supply a replacement for the faulty bladder. SELLERS only solution was to provide a full return. Thanks but how does that ice my limb in the meantime.
