 We absolutely love this fountain we have it in our sunroom and the water sound is loud enough that you can hear it when the TV is playing highly recommend it very good fountain. Added waterproof lights to it and they give it a really nice look. There is a small space where you can sit a plant it’s a round cup shape space. I got the artificial plant in the picture from an At Home store. I also ordered the lighting on Amazon as well lights are remote controlled. I have the fountain and the lights on a timer and it runs pretty much all day from 8 o’clock in the morning until 10 o’clock at night. I would not suggest sticking the pump to the base of the fountain with the suction cups it makes a louder noise when it’s running if you just kind of let it hang at the bottom and move it around you can find a sweet spot so you just barely hear it. Do check the water level inside the fountain at least once a week if you run yours as much as we do and I would also suggest a water treatment so you don’t get any fungus, algae or moss. The fountain is a little heavy when full of water. Good fountain I would recommend it.
