I use this adapter for my Dell Inspiron 13 7437 - and it works great. Dell's factory chargers are always straigtht, which bothers me because they always end up with a lot of strain around the barrel connector and can fray there. I like these adapters because not only do they let me use the much-more-available (and therefore less expensive) business-line Dell chargers with the larger 7.4mm barrel tips, but they put them at a 90 degree angle with the computer, which reduces strain on the cable.
The connector is solid and tight on both ends, and I've never accidentally unplugged either end (the 7.4mm charger tip from the adapter, or the adapter from the computer). The connection is secure and holds well.
The cable itself is a thick enough gauge that I don't fear bending it, and the boot around both sides extends far enough that I'm not afraid it will fray. I've been using these for a little over a year and they look and behave brand new still.
It opens up a world of options for my Inspiron 13 to be able to use the most popular-sized Dell chargers with their 7.4mm tips. Awesome.
