Wow, I love this Vichy foaming cleansing cream. Vichy uses volcanic mineral water from France in this cleanser and other products. This cleanser is thick with a pearlized look and creamy texture, and it feels so silky and rich against my skin without being greasy. It glides so smoothly over my face and is a perfect foaming cleansing cream to use with my Clarisonic, or when I simply hand wash my face using a circular motion and rinse with water. I have skin that has dry areas (combination normal/dry skin), and Vichy cleans well while making my skin feel so soft and hydrated without any sticky or greasy residue. The Vichy site indicates this cleanser is for normal, oily or combination skin.*
This cleansing cream is also suitable for sensitive skin, and contains no parabens (a controversial preservative). My skin is sensitive, and I've had no negative reaction at all. Fragrance is listed as an ingredient, but the scent is really faint and doesn't trigger my sinus allergies. This is simply an awesome cleansing cream because it cleans well and also feels soothing and wonderful to my dry, sensitive skin. Also, despite being a luxury product Made in France, the price isn't sky high. I've tried lots of nice cleansers over the years, and this is among the very best. I highly recommend it.
