5 types of ZOOB pieces - Endless building opportunties
My son really likes this this unique building kit and so do I. We own the 100-piece inventor kit and now this set. The pieces are sizable and do not get lost as readily as tiny LEGO pieces. If you choose to not keep the box, this 81 piece kit and the instruction booklet easily fit into a 2-gallon Ziplock bag. Instructions are included to build 4 different vehicles however since each requires a significant amount of the pieces, you can only build one vehicle at a time (there will only be a few pieces left over after each one is created). The finished vehicle is sizable (see attached picture) and the track-wheels roll so you can push this on the ground like a regular wheeled toy. The instructions are easy to follow and are in color. Once your child gets the hang of how the pieces are joined together, he or she will definitely build their own vehicle creations (outside of the 4-types provided with the instructions) in no time at all. My kids really get into this toy, they figured out the assembly very easily, ZOOB pieces are interchangeable between kits. I personally like that the color of the pieces in the ZOOB Scorpion Driller kit are different shades (or simply different colors completely) from the Inventor Kit so when we are putting them away, even if we combined the 2 kits together, we can easily separate the pieces back into their original storage bag. My kids really enjoy building with the ZOOB pieces and we found out by accident that the pieces float (several pieces were kicked in the pool and they didn't sink to the bottom). Kids can create simple or very complex creations with the ZOOB pieces. They are durable (none of ours have broken yet), take up little storage space when not used, and are entertaining for younger and older kids. I'm rather amazed that this toy has been around for several years and I only recently discovered it.
