My boots arrived yesterday and I hesitated to open the package but I'm glad I did, the boots are just as pictured, so no pic necessary. I ordered a size 8 because that's what I wear but I think it would've been safer to go with an 8.5 or even a 9 because the 8 is kind of tight. Oh yeah all the reviews about having big calves/ thighs is true, for a minute there I thought I would have to return them but with patience the zipper went all the way up, thank God lol. I'm going to keep my boots and see if I can break them in because they're indeed one-of-a-kind.
Okay so I had to come back with an update, I wore the boots for New Years in Times Square NY, and they were pretty comfortable, they were a little stiff but after a few wearsI think they should be great, size wise, well for me the 7.5 was perfect, the 8 probably would've been a lil big, so yeah no regrets here, the boots are really a fashion statement!!!

Great looking boots, but the struggle was real trying to put them on!
First of all, the crocodile style boots are sexy! But goodness, they are tight fitting!I measured my calves, and they are 16" around, I didnt think they are particularly large. I measured the boots, from heel to top of the zipper, it is 20" and around the calves, they are 16" as well... so that's the dilemma, trying to shove my calves into the boots.The struggle was real trying to pull the zippers up on these boots. My index fingers are rubbed raw trying to pull them up... I had to unlace, flex and relax, tuck and squeeze just to get the boots around and the zippers up past my calves... took me about 20 minutes to get these boots on!The shoe size is true to size, leaving a little room for thicker socks. I only have tall socks under the boots for now. I tried them with skinny jeans, but there is no way I can wear the boots over them. I have not tried with tights yet...Now that I've got them on, finally, I'm going to stretch them a bit and walk around to see if the boots will stretch a bit to stop cutting my blood circulation as much... but all joking aside, these are beautiful boots, with tight calves as the biggest flaw...

I love these boots. I was a little nervous after reading all of the reviews saying that they're not for women with larger legs because I have very thick thighs from running and hiking. These fit extremely well and I actually had to tighten the laces quite a bit. I'm 5'8" around 132lb, so given my large frame thought it would be impossible to find boots that actually came over my knee that weren't too short or too tight... but these look incredible! I'm exceedingly content with my purchase and definitely recommend these shoes to any and all ladies who want to add a truly kickass over-the-knee boot to their wardrobe.

09/30/2020 3 YEARS LATER AND MY BOOTS STILL LOOK NEW. WHEN I SAW THE BLACKS WAS BACK IN STOCK I HAD TO GET THEM. WITH THE BLACK I ACTUALLY WENT DOWN A HALF SIZE. I BUY MY BOOTS IN 9'S TO ACCOMMODATE MY CALVES AND MY INSTEP DEPENDING ON THE CUT. I NORMALLY CAN WEAR 8 OR 8.5 IN WOMAN SHOES. I WISH I HAD WENT WITH THE 8 BECAUSE THE 8.5 IS STILL A BIT ROOMY. I CAN MAKE IT WORK BECAUSE SOMETIMES I WEAR THICK SOCKS. THESE ARE A MUST HAVE IF YOU A SHOE LOVER LIKE ME

Be mindful if you don’t have stick like legs. These will not fit if I wear denim jeans. I had to put on leggings to zip up these boots. I wouldn’t dare zipping them up with bare legs for fear of zipping my skin off. My legs are thick but not too thick so I figured I would give them a shot. I had to unlace them to zip up past my calf, then work the zipper very slowly up to get them under my knee. I walked around the house a bit and was finally able to zip them all the way up. They hurt right now because they are very snug and took a few minutes to lace up. No big deal with the lacing. The quality is typical faux leather where you know it’s totally fake but not ugly. Shoe size it true to size. I’m a 9 and the shoe part fits just fine. I think once broken in they will stretch slightly and fit just fine. I don’t hate them but zipping them up was a pain in the butt.
Thick thighs save lives but struggle to get into these boots.
