I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia with 235,000 miles no idea if fuel pump had been changed before I got it, problem I was having was P0174 P0171 codes system to lean.
And also when I was running the front and rear AC at the same time the truck would start to lose power and stall out.
Bought this pump works great no more shakiness or stalling at all! As long as this review is up it has not let me down. Will update if I run into any trouble. Okay update time after a year or two with this fuel pump it failed leaving me on the side of the highway, towed to part store changed out to OEM pump and off I go! Just be careful guys.

The only real problem I had with this fuel pump was the fact that the rubber mount it came with that fits on the bottom of the pump motor didn't have the rubber protrusions in the right place to fit the stock mount bracket. In order to make this fuel pump fit I had to drill extra holes in the original fuel pump bracket, grind a raised portion of a machine stamped hole in the bracket and cut one of the rubber protrusions off the rubber mount it came with. The protrusions are there to go through holes in the mount to keep the pump from spinning or twisting in the mount causing the fuel hose from getting kinked. If I didn't have to modify the bracket to get this pump to fit I would have given it 5 stars. It didn't say it was a universal fit as that would have indicated to me that modifications were necessary.

I can't speak to the longevity since I only installed it a few weeks ago. But the car has been running fine since. It seems like a pretty strong pump. I used this in a 1998 Ford Escort. On my model car I wasn't able to use the new filter, it was too large to fit in my pump housing so I used the original filter screen. I also used my original wiring plug which I had to modify a bit to plug into this pump motor. But for the price I'm not complaining. It pumps right up and holds pressure. Sure beats having to buy a whole new pump housing. Works for me.
