Trying to get one on broke the wires. For the most part the product itself looked okay and had a decent rubber coating. Overall disappointed.

    I use this product for rustic lighting design.It is easy to attatch to a socket .(I use porcelain)The only thing I would change is the manner in which it attaches.The flat collar that clamps down on the socket has a rivet in the middle of it on both sides preventing it from sitting flat on the socket.It clamps down tight and holds well but it has to be aligned somewhat because it pivots on those rivets.It is very attractive when installed and available in another finish which I love.For the appearance and price It is the best I have found in this style.

    Good product....After installing these on a couple of lamps I'm having to edit my review. They do look great but on a standard bulb socket they tighten down pretty far & by the time it reaches sufficient tightness the opening is more oblong than round & only makes good contact on 2 sides instead of the entire circumference. Gives the cage a pivot point to seem like it's not attached well. See Photo & video attached If you tighten it all the way down, with most bulb sockets being plastic, they will crack under the pressure. I added a little JB Weld to keep it from rocking.
