Shift (Savage Disciples MC Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,068 ratings

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

In losing her dad, Ash learned an important lesson:
being a Disciple is dangerous.
She couldn’t stay and wait for the club to take the man she loved, too.
But when a threat to the club puts her in danger,
she has no choice but to return to the world she left behind.

A Disciple will fight like a savage for what is his.

Sketch has what he needs: his tattooing, the club, and his bike.
Wanting more was just a pipe dream that died when Ash left.
Now, she’s coming home—but not by choice, and not alone.
Suddenly, nothing matters except the one that got away...
and the daughter she came back with.

This biker knows one thing: a Disciple’s daughter’s return is about to make his whole world shift.

About the Author

Los Angeles-based actor Stephanie Wyles has been narrating erotica for the last four years. She has recorded erotica in many uncomfortable places, including an apartment full of eavesdropping roommates and her grandmother's house.

When she isn't writing, she can usually be found overanalyzing every line of a book, binge watching a series on Netflix, doing strange vocal warm ups before singing a variety of music styles, or screaming at the TV during a Chicago Blackhawks game. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a BA in English, she still lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she was born and raised.

Troy Duran is an experienced voice-over artist with an extensive background in radio. He has narrated more than thirty audiobooks, in genres ranging from historical fiction and horror to romance and thrillers.

In this second installment of the series, Ashley lost her father to violence while he was a member of the MC. She tried but was never able to reconcile her grief. She loved Sketch with her whole heart but could not face the fear of losing him so she left him. At that time, she did not know she was pregnant. She struggled on her own but found a supportive group of friends. When she was brought home due to a threat, she faced Sketch again and he learned of his daughter. It is a beautiful story of how grief and fear can tear people apart and how love and mend.

A suspenseful, exciting and steamy ride to go on with Sketch and Ash. I enjoyed this story.

In book one, we heard about Gabe and Ash. We saw a bit of information at the end of the first book that makes starting Shift interesting. I am glad that we get to see their story next. Why does Roadrunner show up at Ash's work? What happens when he does? When she goes back with Roadrunner, what happens? Who is Emmy? When Emmy is seen at the farmhouse, by Gabe, things get a little more interesting. What name does Gabe go by now with the Disciples? Who is Victoria, aka Tori? When she is seen at the clubhouse by Ash, what happens? Watching Gabe take Ash and Emmy to the zoo was probably my highlight of the book. I love Emmy's enthusiastic personality. Interesting to find out the information we did not have about Indian, Ash's father. Who is Barton? What part does he play in this story? This is another book that is full of action, some suspense, some romance, and some fairly dark issues that make it all worth the read! Enjoy it.

I gave this book 5 stars because all I had to do was read it. I didn't have to keep up with the descriptions of different characters, their personalities, their families personalities and I must say this is my favorite, no cliffhanger! Sometimes less is more. I love books that don't make my head hurt. After the death of her dad, Ash runs. When it is necessary to bring her home to protect her, Roadrunner finds her and brings her back. No sudden twists in the plot and the story stays on track. Ash and Gabe deserved to have a second chance just like I deserved to find this author.

Damn I didn't know what to think when I one clicked this one but I'm sure glad I did!!! The story of Gabe and Ash was heart breakingly beautiful! After losing her dad and unsuccessfully changing the mind of the love of her life, Ash leaves the only home she's ever known! Now almost 5 years later she's back! Not by choice but because she's in danger! Can she survive the threat against her and her loved ones? Can she survive going back home to those she loved and left? And can she survive once they all know the truth of why we really stayed away all these years? Well you'll have to read to find out! I can't flipping wait to read Jagers story! And PS I know I read book2 before book1! I realized that once I already started and I was not stopping! Now I'm off to read book1 and find out when book3 comes out!

This was a "read until finished" book for me. Started in the morning, realized whatever I thought I would do today was not happening. Like the story, the characters and a very happy ending.

I really loved this story . It’s a common trope but one of my faves . I am starting to get immersed in the whole Mc family and the characters are amazing. I like them all .

I absolutely loved this book, great job on a second one in this series! Ash and Sketch had a history which made it sweeter when they came back together and Emmy was just too cute! Every time Ash had a flashback about her dad, I had to have a box of Kleenex next to me. This is a great MC book, lots of action, love and deep emotional feelings. Can't wait for the next one!

I really want to read the next book in this series, it is hot, the girls have plenty of sass they all have really strong personalities and are all best friends, the men are alpha and strong, and you want them to claim you too, Drew captures each of her character's and makes you feel like they are your best friend too, when they laugh you laugh, when they cry you will want a box of tissue. You feel like you are right there with them the whole time as part of the story, it is a really easy read that you are drawn into really quickly, i didn't want to put down even for a minute. Thanks for another fantastic read
