Now here's my secret tip that I can not believe Thule doesn't incorporate this into the rack (Maybe the T2 PRO XT 3, if they ever come out w/one): I always wondered why everyone drove around w/their rack attached to their car, w/o a bike. That's because the rack is heavy and cumbersome to move on and off the car (or they have the "look at me" syndrome). I had to get a receiver added to my car so I took it to my local hitch place and they made it happen. On the way, I stopped at a hardware store and picked up a $6 castor wheel. I gave it to the hitch place and they welded it to the rack. Now, when I take it off or put it on, I don't have to carry this unwieldy 65lb hunk of metal from my garage to the car. I just wheel it over and put it on. It makes the whole experience much easier.

Other than that this is a perfect rack. Bikes are so simple to load on to rack, secure, and lock easily with the built-in locks. Love this rack.
I took the Mercedes SUV into the dealer, assuming it was a faulty sensor or other issue with the electronics. The MB dealership found that the “rear collision sensors picking up bike rack” which was causing the SUV to be undrivable while the Thule bike rack is attached. The dealership wired in a temporary light which now “…found vehicle to recognize trailer and turn rear sensors off.” The MB dealer suggested acquiring “A bike rack with lights connected to trailer hitch electrical connector (which the Thule T2 ProXT does NOT have), or a trailer light tester that draws enough current for vehicle to know a trailer is connected…”. Since MB does not offer such a connector, they stated that it “…must be purchased through an aftermarket supplier.”
The MB dealership is insistent that the MB GLC43 was acting as designed and that the Thule T2 ProXT CANNOT be used on the GLC43 AMG (and possibly other MB vehicles that have similar collision sensors) without acquiring and adding to the Thule a “trailer light tester” if such an electronic device is even commercially available. Thule should have WARNED all buyers that an unknown electronic device may be required to be placed in the hitch electronics to trick the collisions sensors into believing that the Thule is not a collision ready to happen! It appears that the Thule T2ProXT can render your Mercedes GLC SUV unable and unsafe to drive. If there is a reasonable fix, neither MB nor Thule has explained what the fix is other than Thule is considering adding a Yellow flag warning to their USA Instruction Manual (which does not have lights on the rack in contrast to the European versions which does)!
We have 2 sixty-five pound eBikes and this rack makes us feel very secure that these bikes are staying in-place while driving.
I say this after experiencing our bikes fall off a different Thule rack while driving at 60 mph on CA’s Highway 101.

The Allen head screws were tight, so I worked all into the threaded holes initially before final application.
There was just enough clearance between the vehicle bumper fascia and the rack when in the upright position. This is where the slots to adjust the brackets is great.
Altogether it looks great and no doubt will handle two hybrid bikes.
Cons: heavy, assembly instructions were hieroglyphics and need work, expensive
