I was hesitant they would be too shallow for Boston ferns. While I did have to break off a bit of soil in transplanting them into these pots, they were sufficiently deep. They’re much more attractive in these pots than the ugly black nursery pots they came in. I didn’t realize they come with rope vs chain, but seems very well made and I expect should hold up well outside. I am considering ordering more.

I bought this pot to repot my 20-year-old grape ivy plant, which I’m very careful with. I did get it into this pot, but I had to cut off part of the bottom of the plant because the pot isn’t deep enough. It’s plenty wide enough, though. So if you don’t need a deep pot, it’s a good one.

UPDATE:
I received a reply to the above review from the seller. They offered to have me send the pots back to exchange them or even give me a refund without sending the pots back. I replied that the pots were very well made and lovely and that even though they weren’t deep enough, I found a way to make them work. I told them that the only reason I gave 3 stars was just to let others know that if they have a plant that’s pretty tall, these pots may not be deep enough; otherwise, they are great! So I’ve revised my review to 4 stars because of the customer service. 😊

Where is the how-to video, because I'm pretty handy and the configuration of the 3-point rope was odd to begin with — and impossible to work with.

The rope is slippery; even emulating the photo didn't help. The baskets were lopsided no matter what knot versions I tried. We had some extra 3-point hanging chains and used those. Voila. Problem solved.

So, if you like the baskets — and they are attractive, sturdy and reasonably priced — then buy 3-point hanging chains, the kind with a longer clip, separately. Example: https://amzn.to/3lxtC7W.

If the seller had bothered to have these come with proper hanging chains this would have been a 5-star review.

I really like these. However, the plugs are really hard to use. I couldn't get them in myself, and even my super strong husband had a hard time shoving them in, so I only had him do the one basket, and I've never taken them out. However, the spider plant in there seems happy even without any drainage, so there you go. I just left the holes open in the other basket.

El material y diseño de la maceta es súper bonito, ligero y funcional. Me encanta que el material es ligero pero no sé ve como plástico cualquiera, da un aire y textura frescas.
Tiene hoyos por debajo e incluye taponcitos por si deseas taparlos y sellan súper bien. Hasta trae un par de tapones de repuesto.
Las cintas para colgar son muy prácticas, ya que se pueden sacar y meter de la maceta con facilidad sin dañar la cuerda o la maceta. Útil por ejemplo, al momento de meter la planta por primera vez.
Sólo hicimos los hoyos al techo y colocamos un gancho, ya que eso no vienen incluido, tal cual lo indica en la descripción. Todo lo demás estaba listo para usarse, hasta la cuerda viene anudada y lista.
Me encantaron y justo necesitábamos dos, así que fue perfecto comprar este par.
