Attach the Lift Kit to your Freestyle Edge to “tent” the keyboard 5˚, 10˚, or 15˚. Tenting the keyboard puts your wrists in a more natural position which reduces hand and arm strain. Use the Lift Kit for maximum comfort during extended gaming sessions. Once you tent, you’ll never want to use a flat keyboard again!

*Lift Kit requires the use of the detachable Palm Supports. For tenting without Palm Supports choose the V3 Pro Lifters. Keyboard not included.*

  • Conventional flat keyboards force you play with your palms facing directly towards the deskop, a posture requiring static muscle tension.
  • The more you play, the more that tension adds up. And over time, it can reduce your effectiveness or even knock you out of the game completely.
  • The Lift Kit elevates the thumb-side of your hand which puts your forearm in a more natural position.
  • Research has shown that tenting relieves forearm tension for maximum comfort and stamina.

  • The left and right v-Lifters clip into the bottom of the Freestyle Edge and can easily be adjusted to three different heights depending on your preference.

    Essential for my wrists, and it feels great! I would absolutely purchase this again.Cons:1. It slides easier than I would like on my keyboard tray... Fixed by adding a plastic adhesive bumper to my keyboard tray to keep it in place. Also, I keep my keyboard tray at a slight negative angle, so this is not really kinesis's fault. See photo2. Factory wrist pads are too thin for me... fixed by cutting an old standard wrist pad in half. See photo

    I got this with the kinesis edge keyboard to have a more ergonomic setup while healing from two broken wrists. I was originally concerned that it didn't offer a tilting option for the front/top of the keyboard but after using this for a few days, I realized there is no need for that. The tenting offered (along with the superior wrist pads of the kinesis freestyle edge keyboard) is exactly what I needed and has made the difference for me being able to type for a full 6 to 8 hours rather than the 1 or 2 I could do on a regular keyboard.
    I did read some negative reviews about the kit being flimsy but I have not found that to be the case. It snaps into place and is quite sturdy. I suspect the reviewers hadn't installed the kit correctly. That said, I'm not using this for gaming, just typing. Anyhow, if you're suffering from wrist pain or healing from broken wrists, I can't recommend this (along with the kinesis split keyboard) highly enough! Do wish the two came together though, it is kind of silly that you have buy this separate.

The included instructions seem quite clear on how to set it up properly, and if you follow them, you shouldn’t have any issues. In my opinion, the 15 degree tenting is quite extreme, but it’s nice to have the option just in case. All in all, a great addition to a great keyboard!

    $37 is a lot to pay for a few small pieces of plastic, so I wouldn't rate this as *great* value for money, but I'm sure it's a low-volume product, and you have to recoup the R&D across your sales base.

    It works well, keeps the keyboard stable, and provides three different tenting angles--5, 10, and 15 degrees--that seem likely to satisfy most people.

    If you don't need multiple angles, and have a 3D printer, you could save a few bucks by printing out your own supports and save the time needed to complain here about how expensive they are or the fact that they don't come with the keyboard.

    Judging by the reviews, it bears mentioning that if you want to use the 10 or 15 degree settings you need to "snap together" the two leaves of the supports. They snap and unsnap easily.

    Oddly, both sets I've gotten are a dark gray, rather than black like the keyboard they connect to. They are close enough to coordinate, but it won't matter because you'll never see this support, which sits underneath the keyboard.

    We bought a pair of kinesis split RGB keyboards for our working from home life, and while the keyboards are excellent, these stands leave a lot to be desired.
    Pros:
    + Improve ergonomics even further by allowing tilting of split keyboard halves
    + Further reduces shoulder strain, takes almost no getting used to

    Cons:
    - In their most 'stable' position (the 'middle' position), each side is only held in place by four tiny, cheap rubber pads that easily fall out if you slide the keyboard around too much
    - In the other two positions (low and high), they are only held in place by two of these cheap rubber pads
    - In it's highest setting, it just frankly doesn't stay put at all. Any amount of side to side pressure and it falls over. Any amount of trying to move it around on the desk makes it fall over. Just really disappointing as this is the setting I would prefer to use, but I just can't because it isn't stable enough to use
    - To get past the low setting, you need to click the two floppy halves of these things together, and I really just can't stress enough how cringe inducing this is. You have to push incredibly hard to get it to pop into place and it makes such a loud noise that I thought I broke it the first time. I am not going to push my luck and test it, but I really don't imagine this joint would survive multiple openings and closings.

    Really a shame that this is the only option out there for lifting this keyboard, because I love the keyboard itself.

    It's a bit psychologically annoying to buy these extra, but considering the good quality and still great state after about 10 months very heavy usage, I am satisfied with them and really cannot complain. Obviously, they fit perfectly and I do not see any problems coming soon, from e.g. wear.

    This is the version that is for the keyboard + wrist pads. Some of the reviewers complained about the stands being flimsy. They are dumb. You are supposed to push the stands inwards until they snap, locking in place. There is even a sticker explaining what to do. Once you do this the support is solid.
