A secure bath seat to help baby transition to bathing like a big kid!

The Summer by Ingenuity My Bath Seat is a supportive, in-tub bath seat that helps keep baby comfortable and secure during bathtime. Featuring a high backrest for baby’s comfort and all-around stability, this innovative, hands-free seat helps hold baby in place so parents can focus on cleaning or playing with baby. Best for babies ages 5 months and up, who can sit without assistance. Stop use once child can pull up to standing, about age 10 months.

Installs in a snap

Before use, remove the suction cup protectors and place aside. To install the seat, first place the seat at the rear of the tub. Next, fully extend the rear locking arm until both locking tabs “click” open on the back of the seat. Once the rear suction cup is flush with the rear tub wall, firmly press the suction cup to the tub wall. Turn the locking dial clockwise to secure the rear cup in place. (This rear suction cup will swivel or rotate to accommodate rear tub walls.) Next, secure the side arms by rotating the locking dials on the extending side arms. Be sure to do this evenly until the side cups touch the side walls of the tub. Once in place, turn the locking dial toward the lock icon. Continue rotating the dials until the red indicators can no longer be seen. For baby’s safety, be sure to check that the bath seat and all 3 suction cups are securely locked before placing baby in the seat.

Easy to clean and remove

Bath time all done? Remove the My Bath Seat in a few quick steps. First, turn all locking dials toward the unlock icons. Next, pull on the cup tabs to break the seal with the tub wall. Turn the locking dials on the side extending arms until they no longer touch the interior walls of the tub. To remove the rear suction cup, rotate the locking dial counterclockwise and pull on the suction cup tabs to release suction from the rear wall. Press the suction cup tabs on the base of the seat to release the cups from the tub floor. Then press both locking tabs on the rear extending arm inward and push back fully into the seat. After drying, place the included cup protectors over suction cups after each use.

Helpful hints

Keep baby’s favorite bath seat in top form with these helpful tips. To keep baby’s seat clean, always surface clean the suction cups, suction cup protectors, and bath seat with mild soap and warm water. Dry with a clean towel, and always make sure the seat is completely dry before long-term storage. To protect the seat, be sure to place the suction cup protectors over the suction cups when the seat is not in use. Before bath time, note the Max Fill Line located on the seat. When filling the tub, ensure that the water does not pass this line. And of course, always remember to stay with your baby when they’re in or near water.

0-3 months

Newborns need special support for bathtime. For this stage, give baby a gentle bath on a flat surface or with a slight recline. Do not submerge baby in water until the umbilical cord stump falls away.

3-6 months

Baby is growing and their bathtime is too! Young infants need head and neck support, especially during bathtime. At this stage, provide a slight recline position to a more upright reclined position during bathtime.

5+ months

Older infants have full head and neck control and can sit up on their own, but they still need special support at bathtime. Provide older babies and toddlers with partial support or 360 degrees of support in an upright seated position.

I like this bath seat more than others I’ve tried
This is a nice seat, but there are things that I dislike, and that I like.Starting off with things like about this bath seat.My son just recently had open heart surgery about three weeks ago. He is six months old and still cannot sit up fully on his own so he needs support. This seat provided a lot of support around him for him to play kick and have fun in the bath without me having to worry about him getting hurt or falling. I really like the suction. It’s very sturdy. His safety is number one. So I had to make sure that I find a seat for the tub that is safe. In this seat makes me feel good good. And he really enjoyed it.Things I do not like about this seat:I do not like how many reviews there were about mold inside of the suction cups. Something that I will have to worry about while giving him baths. Maybe wedging something in between the suction so the air gets in there and mold does not grow. I do not plan on keeping the seat installed. I will be in and out as I give him baths. I do not like that the front come off so it is harder to get the baby in and out. Maybe for a regular child that has not had surgery. It will be easier to get the baby in and out but unfortunately we are unable to pick him up under his arms for six weeks. so for the next six weeks it’s a two person job just to get him in and out without lifting him under his arms or putting pressure pressure on his upper body. The seat is like putting your baby In the baby swing at the park. It’s kind of difficult to get them in and out. It would be a lot easier if the front came off.But my overall opinion on this seat, I give it a four out of five just because of the mold issue in the front, not being detachable. so for having a child that I cannot lift under the arms, it does make it a lot harder. But this seat is a lot better than a lot of seats that we’ve tried in. This works best for our son.

Once my little one began sitting up at 5 months old there was no way they were going to lay back to get bathed again. This seat is a good compromise because they get to sit up but I don’t have to worry about them falling over and hitting their head on the sides of the tub. The section cups are very powerful though the one that attaches to the back of tub is completely unnecessary imo. The side suction cups holds the seat in place especially when you have an active baby like mine. The only downside is storing this thing is a pain in the butt but considering that’s the only downside, I’ll take it. Easy to clean, secure, and baby is happy.

Bought for my 6 month old (17 pounds) because she no longer fit in the reclined angel baby tub. Easy and quick to install, fits perfectly in our tub. Very sturdy and does not slip once in place. This seat is unlike most other seats on Amazon because it is closed on all sides and baby won't fall over. Great for younger babies who have just learned to sit up independently but are still a little unsteady. My baby loved this seat from the moment we put her in it! She loves having free use of her hands, being able to look around and lean on the front bar when she's reaching for toys or splashing in the water. The back is high enough to lean against, and the bottom has an extra soft piece of plastic with holes to ensure her bottom gets a good soak. Great purchase and will recommend to others!

 This is a nice seat, but there are things that I dislike, and that I like.
Starting off with things like about this bath seat.
My son just recently had open heart surgery about three weeks ago. He is six months old and still cannot sit up fully on his own so he needs support. This seat provided a lot of support around him for him to play kick and have fun in the bath without me having to worry about him getting hurt or falling. I really like the suction. It’s very sturdy. His safety is number one. So I had to make sure that I find a seat for the tub that is safe. In this seat makes me feel good good. And he really enjoyed it.

Things I do not like about this seat:
I do not like how many reviews there were about mold inside of the suction cups. Something that I will have to worry about while giving him baths. Maybe wedging something in between the suction so the air gets in there and mold does not grow. I do not plan on keeping the seat installed. I will be in and out as I give him baths. I do not like that the front come off so it is harder to get the baby in and out. Maybe for a regular child that has not had surgery. It will be easier to get the baby in and out but unfortunately we are unable to pick him up under his arms for six weeks. so for the next six weeks it’s a two person job just to get him in and out without lifting him under his arms or putting pressure pressure on his upper body. The seat is like putting your baby In the baby swing at the park. It’s kind of difficult to get them in and out. It would be a lot easier if the front came off.

But my overall opinion on this seat, I give it a four out of five just because of the mold issue in the front, not being detachable. so for having a child that I cannot lift under the arms, it does make it a lot harder. But this seat is a lot better than a lot of seats that we’ve tried in. This works best for our son.
